I guess they don't realize that having 3 or more versions of the same character is going to hurt or limit sales on all of them. They really think collectors are going to go out and grab all of them at once?

I think the expression on Leia's face is hilarious. They really captured Carrie Fisher's early 80's coked-out frame of mind that just isn't impressed with the sudden appearance of a threatening Ewok.

that's what tick me off about Bowen too. He release 2 version of Ghost Rider at once and a whole bunch of Hulk! Who has the money to buy them all.

agreed. But i guess im a bit partial because I actually buy his stuff and by releasing multiple versions of the same character, you can usually find them for cheaper price once they are out on the market. Got most of the wolverines for $100 which is a steal imo.

I agree. I really dislike the paints apps on GG's busts and statues. I just find it too shiny. I just don't think the detail is there.

If this was a SS dio..i doubt we would hear so much negative opinion in here about this, its alright looking but, if it were SS..like i said..it would get a bit more credit. GG have exceeded SS in doing better character likenesses both human and alien and even armored figures..most of their mini bust are well done, only company to sculpt a proper Stormtrooper in a long long time.

GG has indeed had some pretty amazing prototypes but I have yet to see one piece of theirs survive production due to the paint so the likeness is lost into the dark abyss that is Gentle Giant and trust me if this were sideshow's the bashing would be the same for a scene that never even happened.

GG will always be under Sideshow's shadow. Some of their stuff is 'ok' but there's always something Sideshow has made that I want more. I may get the Yakface bust, if it turns out alright.

That's just it. GG don't sculpt their likenesses. They are scanned.
