The box, as requested. That's the Doom PF and newly arrived Jango on top to give perspective. It's surprisingly light, probably no more than 50 lbs.

Yep, the box is bigger than the MR Falcon box. And the recycled styrofoam in the plastic bags are a real pain. But Yoda is great! The speaker could be higher quality - the sounds are kind of garbled, but it's really loud.

The speaker?... I must have missed this-- does it play lines from the movies?

I suppose it's the speaker for the sound of the lightsaber. I don't think I read about music or lines from the movie but I could always be wrong.

Since this box is bigger than the Falcon's it will definitely be thrown away. I had a hard enough time with that box to deal with one that's larger. :lol

Yoda is here!! Only arrived with minimal damage. Basically a small section of the wood on the base is showing through where it looks to have been bumped in to. This is fine since it's on the side and barely visible. I find it highly unlikely that anyone could receive this thing in perfect condition due to it's size and how they pack it.

Anyway, what can I say? It's simply awesome! Amazing to look at and definitely a crowd pleaser. The speaker isn't the greatest as Dave said earlier but I still really enjoy the lightsaber sound effects. Overall, I couldn't be more pleased. Even people that aren't into Star Wars want one of their very own to take home. :lol

Pictures to follow shortly. :rock

Where is the speaker is it easily changed? Also you might be able to put in a cheap mp3 player to play lines from the films.

The speaker is located in his chest, so part of the reason it doesn't sound great is due to the fact it has to play through clothing. I don't know if you could change it easily but I suppose you could. You can pretty much undress him so I might check if the speaker can be removed easily. As far as the MP3 player is concerned....anything is possible it just depends how much skill you have to accomplish it. :lol

Happy to hear that he arrived-- can't wait for pictures.

Great early X-mas present.:D

Great early X-mas present indeed!:D

Here are some pictures. The green light from the saber made the lighting funny but I didn't want to turn it off because well, it's freakin cool. :lol

Very, very cool! Definately not the MR saber as was rumored; but I like it.

Grats Rory. :clap
