GG Malfoy bust exclusive

I feel bad for anybody ordering these through retailers, who have absolutely no guarantee of ever getting one. There are going to be some upset people getting refunds in a few weeks.

I wonder how many people who got the "guaranteed access to convention exclusives" offer from GG really want this thing? Not that many, but now that they announced the edition size, they will be jumping all over it so they can have something to scalp after they missed the BHS bust. Subtract those from the 500 and you don't have too many left for attendees. This is just bad, bad news.

Non-attendee and I've pre-ordered with a retailer. I still am hopefull that someone will be able to get me one and if my other one comes through I'll just sell it at cost.

But at least my Hungarian Horntail just arrived. It's amazingly light. Can't wait to leave work and go set him up. My girl's closing tonight so she'll have a nice surprise when she gets home.

What's the point of these exclusives anyway? I just don't get it. You make a very limited item so everybody who just happens to be around will get one to sell at an outrageous price, while the actuall people who collect the line (and some do happen to live 6000 miles away) get screwed. It's just not something companies who respect their customers should do.

Well, there's only so much money to go around for collectibles here and since Malfoy will most likely cost $200+ it's only fair I'm pulling those funds away from GG some other way so I'm canceling my Horntail....

We have no idea yet. GG has said that they are trying to get an advance online preorder set up. We should know by next week.

I assume that if they can get that method set up, it will be for all of the exclusives.
