Oh okay, didn't miss anything, thanks.

Probably going to stop at McGonagal. I don't think 3 or 4 versions of HP is necessary to my collection, but still looking forward to seeing the sculpt. I have most if not all of these busts, buy they've sat in boxes in a closet because I can't display them properly, so been contemplating selling them all.

Well if you do sell your busts I'd buy Dumbledore & Snape off you!
Keep me in mind!
:chew

I would love to get into this line, but the Harry busts just don't look that good at all, and I can't see getting others if I don't have him. Which Harry has the best likeness to you guys? Maybe I should wait and see if they release another once the new movies come out?

All the Harrys are good, but I'm partial to the first one too - the disheveled hair and school robes is just iconic HP.

Yeah I just saw the first one on Gentle Giant's website, at least I think it's the right one. It's the one they released back in 2005, and he's in his robes like you said Dave and has his wand raised. I think the likeness it pretty good on it too, the only thing that bothers me a bit is that it's him when he was really young. Although I agree that it is iconic Harry, so he'll probably be the one I go for if I do decide to jump into this line. What's the official name for the bust if I decide to put a shout out for it here? It just says Harry Potter on their website, so should I just say the first Harry bust Gentle Giant made?

I agree. I really hope we get a Ron and Hermoine in their robes before the line is done.

My short list to consider this line complete would be

Molly Weasly
Arthur Weasly
Nevelle Longbottom
Filch with Miss Norris
Lucius in normal robes
and for some reason I really want a Madam Pomfry

A Richard Harris Dumbledore has been frequently requested and it's nice to see them throw the fans a bone there, but who the heck was asking for Kreacher?!?

I was a few months ago. :monkey3

I'm really torn on the HP line. I decided to stop collecting mini-busts and just stick with statues. I've been selling off my Star Wars busts, but I haven't started unloading my HP collection yet. Sometimes I feel like I don't want to part with them, probably because there aren't any statues of the characters and the busts are all that I've got.

I've thought about just keeping some main characters, which to me would be Harry, Ron, Hermione, Dumbledore, Snape, Hagrid, and Voldemort. I'd really want a different Ron than the one I have though, and the quidditch one isn't what I'd be looking for.

I just can't decide what I want to do. :duh

Yes! circa the first few years. The Ron releases so far have been
terrible, and the Hermione one merely ok.

Actually I really like the Hermione with the Monster book. The likeness is excellent and her pissed off expression is great.

Here is an updated picture of the Kreacher mini bust, with color.

I also heard a rumor that the Richard Harris Dumbledore will be the SDCC exclusive this year. :(
That means eBay for me.

Kreacher should've been the SDCC bust because it wouldn't be a big deal to miss out on him.

Then again, it wouldn't be Gentle Giant unless they screwed the general public with yet another exclusive.

Harris' Dumbledore has been my biggest wish and I'm glad they're finally doing it...too bad they made the boneheaded decision to make it an exclusive. (They don't seem to be able to learn from past mistakes....grrrr)

I've got all of the HP busts and I don't intend to miss out on any. LOVE this line.

I never had a problem getting an Exclusive GG figure. I doubt these will be hard to get.

Most of their ex busts are not that hard to get these days due to decent edition sizes.
