I'm contemplating either getting this and the Slimer or go with Blitzway set. Only other 1/6 scale stuff I have is the BTTF Delorean and Marty. If this turns out good I may jump on one.

Congrats John! Just finished opening it up and putting it together and man, dare I say that HCG did not drop the ball on this one!
Haven't seen any pics uploaded yet, so I thought I would share some since I just unboxed and set up the statue. Please forgive the fact that they were taken with a phone as I don't have time to get out my other camera, but I do have to say that this statue looks to be a HUGE success. Paint looks great...as well as the eyes (still have Selene nightmares). I really hope they continue to go with Trevor for the sculpts on the next 'Buster' in the line as he does excellent work. This statue fits right in with my other 1/4 stuff and in my opinion is Sideshow quality. Enjoy!

HCG did a really nice job on the final product. Nice clean paint job, with some subtle different tones and whatnot on the face that my phone camera couldn't pick up. Sure a custom professional paint job would look even better, but it's quite good and on par with a nicely painted Sideshow PF. Also, some nice texture work on the face and the suit. The proton pack also seems to have all its warning labels and little details, and the EX trap is nicely detailed. Love the base too.
Trevor did an amazing job on this head sculpt and I too hope he gets to work on the other 3 Ghostbusters for HCG. Now I'm thinking I might want their 1/4 Slimer to go with this. The pose on Venkman has an upward looking angle to it that if his sight line matches up with Slimer will make them look really cool together.
My SLR is unavailable atm so I had to settle for taking some phone pics. Hope you guys like em.

Nice. Thanks for sharing. For awhile it was my fantasy that SSC would do these, and it seems this is the equivalent of that. I just don't buy statues anymore, or I would order one right now after seeing those pics.
Excellent pics Mattman! I know I hated posting my iPhone pics yesterday because they couldn't capture the real beauty of this piece that is seen in person. Your pics definitely do this piece justice and should give anyone on the fence about buying a chance to see what they will be getting.
