2. What abouth Harold Ramis, Ernie Hudson and Dan Aykroyd sculpts?
Ada already made a Harold Ramis head (again, see page one). I'm taking a list here of who still needs him to see if she'll give us a deal on him since he's already made.

The Sideshow Forums Venkman commission has been so successful, I'm pretty sure everyone here would want a Stantz and Zedmore if we can get them just as cheap as $25 a head.

I'll be needing a Ramis head as well when the time comes.

and thanks for the goggles links mesa. but none of those seems to fit what im looking for. i have seen a pair somewhere that looks close but somebody had an exact pair and thats the one im looking for.

Sweet, I got a pm from our man Nick about the packs. I told him we needed 24. Here's the message:

yup that should be no problem. i can sell you 24 kits for £500 (saving of £100 and works out at about £21 per kit). would that be ok?

As of today's rates, that's $32.70 a pack! I think we now need to update a master list of everyone who wants 1 pack and everyone who wants more than 1 pack--I have a feeling we're gonna need more than the 24 b/c the price is better than I thought we'd get and I rather put in a order for 50 to really save us some $.

I would really love to double the order at this point guys--so if you were on the fence--get off it. And I you really wanted more than 1 and price was a concern--start counting pennies. I think $32 each for 24 at a time is reasonable, but we might be able to get it down to $25 each if we pick up an even 50!

Let's also get out some concerns before I PM him back.

1. I'm concerned about how these will strap to the figure's back. Are there straps included (I doubt), so did you leave holes for the straps? Any pics of the pack attached to the figure or any pics of the reverse side of the pack?

2. Is the trap included (I doubt it also)? How much to add the trap?

What else guys? I know there are more questions.

Ok guys here is how it works, i know this cause i have my own 1:1 pack .

You need to buy an alice pack set, which they sell in monkey depot, for about $17 plus shipping, but someone with the tools and talent would have no problem scratch building one. So this is my figure with it´s military alice frame, it has the straps and all..

The kit doesn´t come with the trap, he´ll make the trap if you ask him, and he´s willing to do the ecto googles, i know cause i asked him before i knew about this forum. He wanted to charge me $40 bucks for the googles, painted and all. I guess if you ask him more than 10 he could drop the price.

I´m interested in another pack kit so count me in for that aswell. How are you going to arrange the shipping?

I figured we'd need the Alice frame--I think someone mentioned that already, but does the frame attach to the pack easily or do you just glue the pack to the frame? I see some straps in the pics for the belt, but none for the Alice frame.

You should also ask him this:

I think that would significantly increase the price on them--but it wouldn't hurt to ask. There's also the wires and ribbon cable, which Nick said he pulled out of an old hard drive he had lying around.

I think $25 would be the best price for those of us who are looking to buy multiples. 50 pcs. doesn't sound like a lot if more people come on board and also decide to build more than one figure. It wouldn't hurt to run it by Nick and see what he says.

1. The pics of the painted pack are very helpful, but I'd still like to see the side that attaches to the frame, in order to get a better idea of how it'll all go together.

2. It would be helpful to know exactly what parts are included in the kit, and whether or not any of the cables, straps, etc. will be included. A list of the actual kit parts would be great!

3. I'm also very interested in having a trap or two for containing those pesky phantasms. I'd like to have a price estimate for those, as well!

In for 4 packs at that price!! I also may be interested in 2 traps depending on pricing. Mark me down as 'definite' if we've got a lock on $33 per pack or less.

I'm in for all the Ada heads (Spengler, Stanz, Venkman, Zedmore) as well.

hi everyone, nick here (the guy who makes the packs). signed up so i can answer any questions you might have or post any pics that are needed etc. here a few answers to soe questions you have asked..

1) i will be more than willing to lower the price of each kit in relation to how many are ordered. I have already knocked off over £200 (note thats UK £'s and NOT $'s) for a group order of around 25 kits ad will gladly knock more off if that number increases.

2) the back of the packs are flat just like te full size ones and just need a 1/6th ALICE frame glued onto the flat surface (the resn i use is quite light so the packs can be just glued to the alice frames).

3)ever so sorry but i can't include the wires and rbon cable etc with the kit, i simply just don't have enough to include with each kit. Also i can not build and paint the packs to order for the same reason.

4) if this run is a success i will produce a 1/6th trap kit.

Welcome, Nick! And thanks for the information and pics, too. The lack of wires and such could be a problem for some people, but maybe someone here would be willing to do the assembly and painting for those who need it.

Anyway, it doesn't look like the wires would be too hard to locate. Not sure about that ribbon cable, though. Any suggestions you could offer as to where we might find something like it would be most welcome!

Good news about the traps. I hope it all goes well and that we can get some of those, too. I think they'll be a great accessory to compliment the figures. I'd probably want at least two of those.

As you can see the buzz for the Ghostbusters squad is pretty huge here. Thank you for lending your time and talent to this project! This should be a pretty bad*ss figure when everything is said and done! I would think that the interest in traps would be quite high already.

And I'm in for 4 packs and 2 traps at this point--and all 4 heads as well.
