Personally, I don't think Hot Toys needs to make Joes. I'd be happy if we got a 1/6 face plate Cobra Commander by Sideshow.

I liked the first GI Joe movie.

I agree that this one looks a lot better so I am particularly stoked to see it.

The music sucked...badly. But that won't spoil it for me.

Just looked at the IMDB of the cast. No Cobra Commander and no Rachel Nichols!!! WT heck!

Wow! So that means that they re-cast Cobra Commander? I guess since Joseph Gordon-Levitt was off making The Dark Knight Rises....hmmm... Well this time Cobra Commander is completely under the helmet.

So what Joes are we looking at here being in the movie then? Here's what I got from the trailer so far...

1.) Duke (Channing Tatum) early in the trailer. Supposedly killed off, and not later in the trailer. His acting is kinda weird and "wooden" to me. Just my opinion.
2.) Snake Eyes (Ray Park!)! My favorite Joe and great to see him return without the goofy "lips" on this mask! I met Ray Park this year at a con in New Orleans. Awesome guy! Very friendly and very cool!
3.) Roadblock (Dwayne Johnson) - A "new look" for this movie version of him.
4.) Jinx (Elodie Yung - I don't know her)
5.) An unknown female "ninja" in a yellow/black outfit helping Snake Eyes on the moutainside battle with Cobra red ninjas.
6.) Lady Jaye (Adrianne Palicki) - The actress from the unaired Wonder Woman T.V. series pilot.
7.) Flint (D.J. Cotrona) - Good to see Flint in here, even though I think the actor is too young for him.
8.) Joseph Colton (the GREAT Bruce Willis!) - The "original" G.I. Joe himself! Cool!

Anyway, I'd go for some Hot Toys movie Joes. I'd love to see the "classic" Joes and Cobras give the "remake" treatment by Hot Toys too. I liked what Sideshow has done with the Joe line. But it'd be good to see Hot Toys versions too!

Biggest problem with the first one is Larry Hama is in it, but they butchered Snake Eyes' back story.

Still, the new one looks cool.

From the trailer alone I'm already declaring this 100% better than the first cinematic abortion... especially if Channing Tatum's Duke is indeed killed off.
