But as far as original design to movie designs go, Cobra Commander looks a LOT better this time around. He is at least reconizable as CC this time. Although this mysterious hood the director hated would have been just as iconic

True enough. I'm actually looking forward to this one. If anything, the Rock will rock and there will be lots of shiny things and things blowing up to look at. But the fact the director hated some of the stuff from the first is already a good sign of this being better. No Snake Eyes lips and CC that looks like CC!

This might actually be my second most anticipated movie this year after The Hobbit. Yep even more than the superhero blockbusters.

I wonder if SE is going to brand RB an honorary Arishikage ninja after all they go through in the movie as opposed to it actually being a part of his backstory.

I think that looks like the most badass part lol

Love Snake Eyes new outfit....the mouth being gone from the mask makes a big difference. And The Rock is made for films like this.

He did Deep Rising. He doesn't get a pass, but that movie was campy fun.

I like the new mask. Has a bit of Resolute mixed with Sigma Six look to it but I'm not digging the armor. Makes him look a bit too Metal Gear Solid-ish or something. I would have preferred a more realistic commando look myself but that's just me. Still he looks better than how he did in ROC.

Still bitter about Scarlett being allegedly dead and Baroness being M.I.A.

Why they couldn't have had Scarlett out on a mission or something when the attack happened is beyond me? Much prefer her over Lady Jaye from what I've seen so far.

I was excited when I first saw the trailer cause I thought it was a reboot, then I read its a 1/2 reboot?

I like some of the redesigns, but wow, just start over.

It does fill me with faith to hear the director say this:

And we may see Destro?[Smiling] You may see a little glimpse of Destro. We'll have to see. Speaking of the comic book, I love "Silent Interlude." It's one of my favorite. Obviously that changed everything for Joe. We do a little homage in our movie to "Silent Interlude." I'm very excited for the fans to see what we do with that.

Definitely one of the best comic issues ever.

I'm very excited about this movie. I do agree, just reboot the franchise and forget the abomination that was Rise of Cobra. They're doing that with Superman, why not GI Joe. However, if this movie is as good as the trailers make it seem we'll all easily forget about that rubbish from a few years back. Kind of like Indy 4, to me there is only the trilogy.
