Well at least they tried to reboot but the studio still wanted continuity for the 2nd one. If they'd only take more from the figure line in terms of costume, vehicle and set design even if it is only used at the end of an origin story.
Who really wants to see the classic RAH Flint, Duke, Roadblock, Falcon, Rock'n'Roll etc...?
Me.
And they could use some of the early Hama storylines as a blueprint and update them as needed.
How does this series keep getting another movie?
reboot the franchise then hire the Nolan brothers to give it a realistic feel.. I prefer the Joes to be the "US Military's Answer to CIA SAD" approach than the "Superhero ninja with guns" approach..
So the Joes all quit at the end.
GI Joe trilogy..
you got me there..
but at least he's better than Jon Chu..
Not really. He's just as bad. While he nailed the first Batman film, his last showed he had absolutely no understanding of the characters he was writing. But rather than take exception to it, his nutmonkies trolled with, "Oh, that's his take. And if you don't like it, you don't understand his cinematic genius." Same can be applied here with these films, right? And let's not forget. Acting-wise, Talia's death was by far worse than anything I've seen in the Joe films.

A smart director would've just cut from the door opening to her dead face.
His 1st two batman films were great.. And would definitely agree with you on the last one..

Cameron would be awesome.. I wonder if his ex-wife would be as good though..
Nolan - NO
Cameron - NO
Who's next?
Spielberg?
Michael Bay?
Antoine Fuqua? (TEARS OF THE SUN, TRAINING DAY, OLYMPUS HAS FALLEN)
Len Wiseman? (LIVE FREE OR DIE HARD, THE UNDERWORLD FILMS)
Timur Bekmambetov? (WANTED, ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VAMPIRE KILLER)
Cobra La can't be any worse than what the last two movies had in them.
People always make fun of the Ninja Force figures, but want to see Joe movies full of ninjas. Go figure.
