Remember that Navy uniform and cap that some thought would work well with Shockwave? Can't find it anywhere. Anyone see it for sale? or better yet anyone with a better idea for Shockwave? Even if it is in a different color, something with that angular pattern?

The Magic Cube one?
EDIT;
It's available from Black Ops Toys for $30 as a complete set, or $20 for just the shirt, pants, and patches (missing the hat and t shirt).
Full set:

Just the outer shirt, pants, and patches (No hat or t-shirt):

It's on backorder over at Cotswold:

I have one, it's well made but fits a little too big imo.

Thanks for the links. I'll think about putting an order in at Cotswold. I still would like a less busy and more true to the original pattern, even if I have to dye it blue.

Personally, I would go with that because it's more modern but yeah, you're right; a little too busy.

You can try doing that. I've heard and discussed with people that dyeing a patterned fabric will still retain the pattern. I suppose it would depend on the dye and how much dye is used.

I dyed a pair of desert camo light blue for a Starduster and it looks pretty good. The green and dark brown in the camo stands out. The base material took the dye pretty well, though it came out a little greyblue rather than sky blue.

I really like the weird arrow stripe camo on the orignal figure. Wonder if I might be best suited finding an all blue uni and then painting on the > > < < shapes.

For the odd camo, you might want to look at some of the 90's+ 12" Hasbro stuff.

Now that I pull him out of the box again I realize you can't really tell I dyed the pants at all. :lol At one time they were a light tan. Now they are a very light grey, not really bluegrey as I thought. I'll have to redye them a lot heavier blue.

I little more work on my kitbash monster...I like how he is coming along.

Really just a conglomeration of some of my favorite 1:6 parts. No specific character.

Edit - I have really taken to those modular Dragon M4s lately.
