I suppose this thread would work to ask, I saw someone who made newish looking versions of the adventure team guys (shoulder holsters, beards) anyone know who/where I can find photos of them?

It's too small, that looks about the same scale as the original!

To my mind, that makes it more or less perfect for sixth-scale. I'm guessing the print would have been made much finer had they the technology to do so back in the '80s (think of the recent "Ultimate Duke" from the Retaliation line).
