Statue Gimli Maquette

Mine is on the way - looking forward to it. I think Boromir will be my favorite, but this one will be high up there too.

Hey guys! I dont know If I told before, but Im from Spain. I just received my Gimli statue right now, and it is INCREDIBLE! I think that is the best maquette that has came out.

I have posted a reply on the forum, and they told me that I have to wait until an administrator has seen it.

I have a doubt, your exclusive orc has a finger missing? I realized that mines hasn't the index finger from the left hand.

Great pics, mine should be here Friday. I really think this looks best from the side view, maybe 3/4 view, because that seems to show the pose in its best possible form.

That finger doesn't look like a break. The polystone is usually white underneath, so a break would be white.

They can paint above the polystone... There is a guy on the spanish forum-who received the Legolas maquette with a piece of wire in the hair (coming out the hair)... and it was painted on yellow (blonde)!

I've seen them paint over breaks before. But in this case, I think it's meant to be that way on the goblin corpse.

I totally agree with you. Furthermore, the left hand has a glove and it is ripped before the amputate finger...

Glad to hear the finger looks correct and that tomandshell concurs.

Mine made a visit today, but alas, I was out at class, and was in too much of a hurry to leave my regular note for the driver to just leave the box.

Oh well, now I have the official form to leave, and can look forward to setting him up on Friday. Way to busy tomorrow to even touch him.

Hope I get a low number like tom, but that never happens for me any more.
