I mean do you have any ideas of other statues, paintings, memorabilia, etc.. that would enhance your display of Kratos..For example the Pandora's Box (which was the centerpiece of the God of War series) maquette that was included with the GOW3 collector's edition seems like a perfect companion piece to the Kratos statue.

you know that that thing, even though pretty nice, was just a piece of plastic right?

there isn't really anything real nice released besides this statue, Pandora's box (GOW3 Ultimate Trilogy), the nice wooden press kit edition and the two swords
rest are just action figures and stuff like that

Even if it's a piece of plastic, that Pandora's box is just the perfect replica to display next to this Kratos! You couldn't tell it was plastic until you held it.

Kratos and Athena would be a solid display. I think I'd skip Pandora's box actually but if you do get the replica blades, you could put them directly behind (or above) the statues, I bet that'd look great.

As much as I can see the match-up, the Athena by ARH just looks a bit wooden to me. This Kratos on the other hand exudes much bad-assnes that I don't see them really going well together. The scale might be another factor. Then again I can easily be swayed if anyone decides to place them together.

Athena, Kratos, the Blade and the Box will make a great set up. My collection is mostly Marvel but even with that, part of my collecting is about how to make an entire display...not just how a few figure statues look with each other, but how props, nameplates, artwork, etc. create a gallery, so it's cool to see you're doing this.

Athena serves as Kratos' patron Goddess in the GoW series. Remember that as the Goddess of war she's a fierce and brave warrior she's also the embodiment of wisdom, reason and purity so she was always portrayed as a noble and valiant as opposed to a bad ass beast like Kratos.
ARH's Athena is a gigantic 1/4th scale standing at over 25" and weighing in at 30lbs. I'll post pics of them together as soon as I get my Athena AP hopefully by the end of the month :)

Athena isn't the Goddess of War. Artemis is I believe. Athena is the sneakier, behind-the-scenes kind of chick that will beat and trick you by avoiding war. But the statues probably look nice together, maybe even better if they were facing each other as if they were about to do battle.

:monkey4Thanks for your input but Athena is definitely the Goddess of war:

"ATHENA was the great Olympian goddess of wise counsel, war, the defence of towns, heroic endeavour, weaving, pottery and other crafts. She was depicted crowned with a crested helm, armed with shield and spear, and wearing the snake-trimmed aigis cloak wrapped around her breast and arm, adorned with the monstrous head of the Gorgon."

I stand corrected. So she's basically the goddess of multitasking. What is Artemis then?

"ARTEMIS was the great Olympian goddess of hunting, wilderness and wild animals. She was also a goddess of childbirth, and the protectress of the girl child up to the age of marriage. Her twin brother Apollon was similarly the protector of the boy child. Together the two gods were also bringers of sudden death and disease--Artemis targetted women and girls, and Apollon men and boys.

In ancient art Artemis was usually depicted as a girl dressed in a short knee-length chiton and equipped with a hunting bow and quiver of arrows."

I do loves this statue.

I'd love a small replica of the flames of olympus and pandora's box from GOW III
