Had to update all my photo links because Photobucket site is now charging it's members to share their pics. So I moved my pics over to Flickr.

As a kid, I first laid eyes on the Godaikin line of robots during the mid 80s. A neighborhood friend showed me his collection and I was hooked ever since. The concept of smaller robots combining to form larger ones just made me fall in love with these toys. However, the Godaikin robots were too expensive, and there was no way in hell my parents were going to spend $50-$80 dollars on a toy for me.(Yes, Godaikins were expensive, even in the 80s!). So when I got my first real job, I started hunting on ebay for the Godaikin robots that had long alluded me all these years. I'm happy to say I have finally completed my collection. During my hunt, I found a few other collectibles that caught my eye along the way: (Hot toys, bandai chogokin macross, tranformers, fewture, playarts kai, ...the list goes on and on). These are more than just toys to me, they are art pieces. Just wanted to share my collection with you all.Hope you guys like it.

Please Note: Any new picture updates will always be on this first page at the top (below this text.)

Posted on 3/31/2019: Probably the most articulated 1/6 scale figure to date...(even the fingers, eyeballs, and eyelids are articulated!)

This is what makes collecting great..l thoughtful display.. nice presentation and great subject matter...Thanks for the post...Nice not reading about why the eye is painted 2mm too much to the left...:)

I had a lot of the Godakins line too... All the blue metalic paint on my Tetushlin 28 flaked off...:( The elevators in his inside body where awesome..:)

Thanks attom44 for the feedback. I just noticed that some of my tmnt links were messed up. I just fixed them up so all the img links for tmnt should be good now. As for Tetsujin, yeah, he was ahead of his time with all the magnets and elevators and stuff. The Godaikin line of robots were amazing for their day. They are what got me started into toy collecting.

Very cool collection - varied, colourful and very nicely displayed! :clap Really like your Iron Man display :rock

Thanks BagginsOfBagEnd and showboat. I try to display the colorful collectibles with dark backgrounds, and the darker collectibles with white backgrounds to make them pop and standout.

Wow, really cool stuff you got there! Love the "black and white" Ninja Turtles!

Thx B1GMARC.
Those white Neca ninja turtles, along with their green counterparts, are probably the best non-1/6 scale representations of the turtles to date In my opinion. They are really nicely detailed, and highly articulated. I highly recommend the Neca Ninja turtles if you can find them for a good price.

Looks pretty awesome! I remember having a couple awesome robots when I was younger. A certain guy I once knew was totally into them, and he got me interested. :wave

Awesome collection godaikin! :hi5:

It helps that I have seen your collection in person! haha.

Great to see you here. I need to update my collection thread too! It's just sometime by the time I get around to it, I got something new.

No my young Lamtsunfung. You guys didn't just have a couple. I think you guys had all of them, lol!
Is this Lam 1, 2 or 3?

i love your collection so much

Thanks wavestuff. When it comes to collecting, I'm all over the place. I collect more for what's visually appealing to me than for whatever show, movie, cartoon series, etc, these collectibles represent. Some of these figures, I've never seen the shows that they come from. I just think their design aesthetic is cool and collect them. If there are any figures that you, or anyone else reading this post, see in my collection that you have questions about, feel free to let me know and I'll try and post up more pictures of it and maybe give a little history of the piece as well. Thanks for browsing, and I'd like to see your collection one day as well, if you haven't posted it up on these boards already. If you have, shoot me the link.
Happy new year!

Thanks Prototype78, If you have any questions about any of the figures, or want to see more pics of a specific one, let me know and I"ll try to post more up.

Thanjs...i was thinking about buying me mazinger, and the hover, gaiku, gordian , jeeg and others around that era
