Did anyone hear if Bandai Japan was going to do their own line of G14 figures? As in, not MonsterArts but 6" or 8" vinyl?

Hell, maybe they could resurrect the Super Premium line and make a two foot-tall G14 to go with their '94 Goji. :lol

Well, early or not, this is still a wait and see. It's making me dislike the 2014 Godzilla
more and more.

Good thing I just won this on ebay for $52.00

Will be here tomorrow. Now I'll just need the SH King Ghidorah to go with him, and custom built dio.
and some small tree's and then some dirt hills, ponds and.....well you get the picture...:lol

I really like that SH 64 Godzilla. I just wish Bandai would release Godzilla from other years such as the 73, 71, 68, and 66.

Damn! The joint lines on that Giant Size Godzilla are horrible. :(

They make Godzilla seem as if he's wearing a vest and underwear. :lol

That's beautiful. I wasn't expecting awesome detail but for a figure that size it's great and looks close to what we are getting in the movie. Defiantly bought but I gotta make space .

Jakks would be a really awesome figure if they didn't shrink down the spines, that's the only flaw that bothers me, the rest can be ignored cuz what's right is so good. I'm actually really impressed with how they articulated the shoulder but didn't lose his body shape and have a very stand out joint, I sure hope NECA pulls it off as well, Bandai sure hasn't.

If I had room and money I'd totally buy the JAKKS figure, but I don't really have either so I have to pass.

Yeah I can't pass up a new, affordable, very decent quality 2' Godzilla. Trying to come up with a way to make the spines bigger and replace the teeth. Might have to try some sculpey.

Agree, make the spines bigger and create better more aggressive teeth and that Jakks will turn into something awesome.

His tail length is insane!

The spin size, I kind of get, especially seeing the box, he's crammed in there, but the teeth, you could make them bigger and more defined without being harmful to kids, these looks like teeth you'd expect on a 6" figure, even Bandai's teeth are more defined.

You know what I've realized, pretty sure this is shorter than most JAKKS giant figures, since they're pushing his length not height, but, going with NECA's scale on the small figures, their 18" figure would be about 36" long, so NECA's won't be too much smaller than this, but far more accurate, though it will surely cost 2-3 times as much too, that's if they definitely do it. Just thinking, NECA might be a better route to get roughly the same size with more accuracy.

As much as I want to, just can't love this G14 design. I hate the new narrow jaws. Every time I see him, 'DogFaceZilla' keeps popping up in my head... :(

Ok, shouldn't Neca at least release pics of their figures at this point? The cat's out of the bag as far as the big G goes, so why not? I'll still probably get the Monster-Arts in the end but I will probably at least get the 6" Neca to tide me over until then. If the movie is popular enough do you think we might see Monster-Arts Mutos? I'm still waiting on my Monster-Arts Jet Jaguar.

Even though the cat's out of the bag, legally it shouldn't be. There's an embargo to stores and manufacturers that product is not to be shown or made available to the public prior to March 17, 2014. Everything that's out of the bag has been done so in violation, and really, the only people seeing it are the uber fans chasing down this stuff, casual shoppers are clueless still.

NECA cares about it's relationships with licensors so they're upholding the embargo, but they have stated once it's lifted, they'll be showing their stuff off.
