**** that's great, Mecha G has always been my favorite godzilla bad guy. I still don't understand why Monster Arts hasn't dived deeper into the older godzilla films outside of Godzilla himself. They went all in on the 90s version, why not do 50s-70s godzilla figures?

So, I know some people don't agree with me, because they like their gigantic GMK and 95, but I thought it was a mistake from the beginning to go with stylized pieces. I'm sure the true reason they went with stylized for the gigantic series is they could only make deals with companies that had stylized pieces back then. They have now shown their 54 and 62......not stylized. I am happy, of course, but at the same time even more ticked off that two of my favorites could have been better, the GMK and 95. I can't even tell if I want them to go back and do them justice. That's just more money and space unless I sell the others.

I don't really agree or disagree with you. I loved the uniqueness of the stylized figures but it saves me money and space if they don't keep pumping them out. As nice as the gigantic 54 and 62 are I can't see myself diving in. They are all tempting...wait until a 91 or an 03 or a 64 come out

A gigantic 64 would be epic. The 62 is tempting, so I will have to think about it.
I also read that the Shin Zilla won't be getting a theatrical release in the USA. That
is a bummer.

I think the 30cm is pretty much perfect. I love that guy. I'm in no rush to replace him. I can see a much better 64 being made whether it's a sakai 30cm scale or a gigantic. There is room for improvement there. Same for 84 and 89 (the sakai is nice but the single molded teeth kill it for me). Of course...we still need a good '74

From what I've seen, the Banpresto is a limited piece given away as part of a promotional lottery for the film, no indication yet that it will be up for regular purchase.

The other banpresto godzillas that were "limited" ended up being relatively easy to find. They have done a yuji sakai 2000 and 54 before.

I find it cool that the guy who designed this Godzilla was also one of the artists for Mad Max fury road

I hope so, this and a posable NECA figure and I'd be quite happy.
