So is anyone else a bit preturbed that the MonsterArts Shin Godzilla is a Japan-only release? It's been a few days and I'm still surprised. I'm glad I have one one pre-order, yet I'm kind of afraid something'll happen and it'll get dropped. :rolleyes2 At least we have NECA? :dunno

I'm annoyed, because I foolishly neglected to order him at amiami or hlj. Now it looks like I'll have to go through Ebay...I'm going to ask the people at the Tamashi booth when I see them at NYCC. Maybe someone will have an answer about NA distribution.

Let us know what you find out. It sounds like a done deal, which is crazy. Doesn't Bandai want my money? :gah:

I finally received in my S.H Monster Arts Godzilla 1954 Figure. Boy was I blown away because this figure rules and probably one of there best to date. I wish Bandai would make more classic figures from the Showa Era. This is a prime example of awesomeness. I got to thank Flossie's Gifts for being stand up and packing it well.

Damn that looks cool, I can't wait to get this. A lot of godzilla stuff coming out now.

I never got all the hype for the burning Godzilla look. I see that everywhere now.

Burning Godzilla for me will always be the supreme version of the character, not my favorite film, not the most classic but easily the most awesome version Godzilla. Burning Godzilla was just so mean & volatile, like a walking nuclear bomb. The majority of the BG figures leave more to be desired but the X-Plus Gigantic is one of my all-time favorites. I look at him every time I go into my collection room.

Yeah burning godzilla is pretty badass..I hear shin is very awesone on screen as well.

But 54, 64, burning and gmk have had the coolest "personalities"

Looks weird honestly. Not the best sculpt from Neca. I like my 84 Godzilla from Neca honestly. Oh and I got some reviews I posted on some Godzilla pieces I own. Enjoy!

I think one of the draws of the design is it's unique, no other godzilla looks like that. Plus it's from his last movie in a long running connected series of films, it's pretty much the exclamation point of what alot of people consider the most well known or well liked run of godzilla films there is. I've never really been keen on the design myself but I see why people like it.

Yeah. No. This is like '84 all over again...

Not giving me high hopes for Shin Godzilla. Are the Chinese Factories playing a joke?

Well this pretty much looks like the prototype for once, so as long as Shin prototype looks good, we should be safe.

Yeah the difference in quality is very clear. But so was the difference in cost.

It's cute for a kids toy. I would get it to be played with. The monsterarts don't hold up so well in the hands of children
