Why are the tips of the teeth black?
Thanks for the careful observation. Just watched King Kong vs Godzilla, and Godzilla does not have black tips on his teeth.

Holy moly! Deagostini is issuing an 18 month long weekly subscription magazine that includes all the parts to build a 60cm (!!!) tall remote control Godzilla 1954 sculpted by Yuji Sakai! Issues are ¥1990 each which equates to a little under $1500 total.

Yes definitely brighter then others. I just wish they were blue like the original Ric Boy 64 did. But still a nice feature overall. Those are some bright fins.

So the remote version of this came out years ago. Now they want to charge you more and build it yourself? What? Although I don't think the fins lit up on the original.
A bit pricey, I believe it's about 8" tall but around $170.
Are they going to sell it in the US?

Anyone know about the "Hyper Solid Series"? Their Shin Godzilla just went up for preorder at a bunch of places, I like the pose a lot.
That figure is made by Art Spirits. I have it, got it last year from Hobby Link Japan. It is very detailed and is solid and heavy. It came with two heads; both open mouth, but the shape of the bottom jaw is different. The only thing that I don't like about this figure is that it is a little short. They also made one with the purple accents. The purple colored ones can be found on ebay, but are around $400, so the $170 price isn't too bad.
You’re thinking of the Tokyo Marui RC figures (there was a ‘54 version and an ‘89 version). Pretty sure this is an all new sculpt by Yuji Sakai with all new robotics. Also, I don’t think the old one you’re thinking of was quite this big. This one is 60cm tall!
Oh that's good to know. About how tall is it actually?
