So amiami waited until Gigantic 89 released to cancel my order because they won’t ship it to USA now :gah:

You're kidding!!!!! Hobby Search just charged me for mine this morning. They better not come back with "sorry can't ship" now. Don't see how they could though since they actually calculated a shipping charge.

I refuse to buy from AmiAmi anymore after the 25cm King Ghidrah fiasco a few years back. There are better Japanese retailers than them and the way they treat customers can be crappy. (Like now, for example). I wouldn't recommend them.

That looks really sharp! Good job:clap

Where are you guys finding the Jakks Godzilla stuff? I haven't seen it in any of the stores in Louisville and no tags/spots for them.

My local Walmart had everything but the Val Mothra pack. I read somewhere that Jakks stated not every Walmart would carry them and I know a fellow MA fan who had to go to like 3-4 different stores around before finding one with them, so it seems they aren’t everywhere and only the 24” figure is online.

Some guys on FB are now saying that amiami is going to be shipping it to the US. Hope this helps.

I emailed them and they said it's too big to ship international but then later got a payment request. They probably saw how many sales they'll lose from US customers and changed their mind.

If anyone out there has any leads or info that might help; I’m actively hunting for a Pilot Ace Rodan. Anything in the red/orange/brown color family and in good condition will do.

I typically order from HLJ. I had ordered the Movie Monster Series Ghidorah 2019 back in February and then about April, some came in, but my order wasn't filled. I contacted them and they said they would be filling orders as soon as they can. Now they are on order stop. So did anyone else get "allocated" on the 2019 Movie Monster stuff? I really want the Ghidorah because I am not ponying up for the Monsterarts :rotfl

Funny you should mention this. When the order stop happened, I wrote to them and got the following response.

Thanks for writing.

I'm very sorry, but we received far fewer of the item than we ordered and stock unfortunately ran out before your order and the orders of other customers could be filled.

We have stopped accepting new orders for it, but are keeping your order on file as we try to get more stock to fill it. In addition, more may become available if any of the orders currently in payment processing become cancelled for non-payment.

If we are not able to get any more, our order department will e-mail you to let you know.

We hope to have the answer for you soon. In the meantime, though, if you have another source for this item, you might want to pursue it.

We appreciate your business with us!

Best regards,

Many have said, Bandai is sure to keep pumping these out, so likely all orders will be filled, but I didn't want to wait that long or risk not getting it, so someone mentioned they were selling it on Amazon and I looked at the price and I was comfortable enough with the cost since it was likely maybe $10 more than HLJ would have been, finally got the MMS Ghidorah. My plan was to see whether it or the JAKKS 6" Ghidorah would best serve as a fill in among the NECA KOTM line, and based on the promo photo, I had a feeling I would like it better than JAKKS and that holds true, it's more detailed, bigger within the 6" scale, and feels more imposing and more threatening to NECA Godzilla than the JAKKS does, so if you're in the market for a NECA substitute and don't want to get the SHMA Ghidorah, my vote is go with SHMA. The only flaw I would give it really is that the wings are proportionally smaller than the movie design, but in a way that helps save some shelf space, and once you have all 4 monsters posed together, it probably won't matter as much, that'll be an impressive display.

For comparison, here's my similar shot of JAKKS Ghidorah with NECA Godzilla.

Damn those are hideous. Maybe it’s me but toys back then when I was younger looked so ****ing amazing . Those trend masters Godzilla figures were awesome and looked great to this day now they look like happy meal toys.

I’m talking bout the jakks ghodorah btw

Well, here's a figure that looks great, the X-Plus Gigantic G89. This arrived today, and I am very pleased with it.
I had to go RIC for the switch out bottom jaw. The glow in the dark spines are pretty cool too. Pictured with the
RIC Gig Shin.

Coolness. That was one where I thought the unpainted sculpture looked better than the finished product. I ended up selling mine.

Got the Gigantic 1989 from X-Plus, and it's great. But one issue: is this supposed to come with a tail support? None of the reviewers have mentioned it, but it looks like the feet don't sit flush on the ground.
