Is Playmates the only toy maker for GVK? Are there others?

Domestically in the U.S., yes, we're sure to see product from Bandai, SHMA and X-Plus, but SHMA and X-Plus are expensive.

People are saying they got orders in with expected delivery next week. Maybe because of lack of spoilers to them, Playmates is releasing some stuff early to keep sales buzz going while waiting and also clear out their factories and such since a lot of this was probably done long ago.

Godzilla is still available, Kong says Out of Stock again. Godzilla looks very derived from JAKKS, even the head seems look the same.

Walmart. On top of Playmates controlling the license, their products for Godzilla are exclusive to Walmart.

Just keep checking back on the Kong page for the Add to Cart option to come back, it keeps going back and forth from Out of Stock to Add to Cart. The notification option doesn’t work.

Only if you like the modern stuff. If you, like me, like Showa-era in particular, there’s nothing out there by way of articulated figures. The only alternative is X-Plus, which for me are the wrong scale, and too expensive for my pockets.

X-Plus released 6" vinyls of the '64 and '65 suits about 15 years ago for their US line. If you're lucky, you may find some for under $80. There's also the Bandai museum collection, featuring the '54 and '62, but those tend to be way overpriced on the secondary market.

Yeah, I'd love a re-release of The Bandai Museum Line. I'm not sure what TOHO is doing with all of this, but it seems weird to leave money on the table.

Not sure how many were interested in the Dream Figures statue/line, but they have been forced to back out due to COVID and other circumstances rendering them unable to deliver on it.
