Does anyone here use AmiAmi? I have a few questions I'm having trouble finding answers to on their site.

When do preorders get charged?

Do U.S. customers typically pay extra import costs?

Can you cancel orders?

I’ve used them many times. Preorders get charged when the item is in stock and ready to ship. They’ll send you an email.

As far as I know, I’ve never paid any extra import prices.

Canceling is kind of frowned upon. They state on the site that if you cancel too many times, they can ban your account.

There's no customs fees on importing almost anything into the US. I think I looked it up once and maybe like a $2000 order might trigger something but you'll be fine 99.9% of the time. I've been importing stuff from Japan for almost 10 years now.

It happened to me yesterday. I had 3 boxes arrive at the same time. I just said, “I’m selling them, they’re to sell!”
