Shin is just a damn zombie. A walking mass of flesh that attacks stuff. It has no personality. It’s more of a zombie brain dead creature then any other incarnation

Shin is a force, but not evil, the closest thing to intentional destruction for him was using his crazy beams and breath and mainly self defense.

I can't believe im thinking of ordering the 3D, even though the 3D was incredibly underwhelming at my showing.


Wonder if it was that the movies 3D was poor, or the fault of the theater?

Hate the fact that I have to order it right away, or miss out.

I saw the seaweed mammoth -- didn't look like a monster from Monster Island. Looks more like The Mist. I think they cheaply bought the CGI library from The Mist.

I instantly thought Mist as well.

When I say horribly designed I mean for the Kaiju monsterverse not in general terms.

They’re well designed for the Mist only problem this movie has KG, Mothra and Rodan lol

The designs are certainly influenced by the notion that these are animals/species that have survived for centuries so I'm sure they're trying hard to make them seem like predecessors to modern animals rather than looking like true monsters unlike anything on this earth.
