Godzilla has evolved from nuclear threat to hero of children back to nuclear threat then to anti hero and now a mix mash of anti hero and nuclear threat.

He was made to be a representation of the bombings of world war 2 and how nuclear power can be deadly when crossed with Mother Nature and man kind reaps what it sows. That alone is deeper than kong .
