All 5 of my Cobra troopers and all 5 of my cleaner Predators have shipped... going straight to ebay with these
I won't use the s-word, but that's really not a nice thing to say if you want to win friends around here.
Got the shipment notice today for my Cobra Trooper and for my Hellboy. Alright. I was expecting both of them to get canceled, truth be told.

Honestly, I just loaded up on these thinking that they'd pull their typical crap of saying they're out of stock. I'm thinking about grabbing a couple more cleaners and IM MK1s from their site just to sell on ebay. It's not like this was some uber limited item either... I watch their site pretty regularly for sales like this.

ARGGGGH! After about an hour debate in my mind about what to buy I finally pulled the trigger on the IM Mark I.
Why am I frustrated? Because I just went through this a few weeks ago when I ordered a Machiko for $85 shipped and got a P2. I sold it on Ebay (I only have a few Predators I want) and now I'm wondering what I'm going to get for the Mark I I just ordered.
What's the old saying "fool me once, shame on me,...." yada, yada.
Also, I have a Hastings locally that I've perused their stock quite regularly. I know they have the bank robber Joker, the cleaner kit Predator, Machiko, IM Mark II and some various others. I called them because you can search at a local store on their website but the guy told me that they can't honor the website prices.
That sucks but I understand. That would have rocked though. Haha, imagine me strolling into Hastings today with the prices they are showing on their website for these figs,....I would have been one VERY happy guy....broke, but happy!

Just going to defend Jbinny real quick. He is a great guy and a respected member of this site. This deal was going on for days before the Cobra Troopers' price went up. If you missed it don't be mad at other members, be mad at yourself for not spending more time perusing the site.

Oh, I'm not mad at jbinny. This is capitalism, after all. And if he takes advantage of this sale to make profit, then that's his choice and his right. Bragging about it rubs me the wrong way a bit, but you definitely have to be thick skinned around here.
I'm a little bummed that I didn't notice this thread until now, but that's definitely my bad. However, I did take part in a similar gohastings sale awhile back when I purchased the 1/6 Gandalf for $35. I guess the difference, in my mind, is that I didn't/wouldn't go ahead and purchase 5 or more of the Gandalfs just to scalp 'em. Again, that's absolutely his right. But it just comes across as a little...I dunno... smarmy? Or maybe I am a bit cranky because I missed out on cheap Cobra troops.
