yeah i'm not a big reader but i read when i go to bed and started reading the prequel novels. for those who didn't know what happened to grevious it doesn't make sense why he is coughing(which is kind of annoying). if you read another novel read "Shatterpoint". it's about mace and gives you a respect for him and ties in with sam jackson playing him in the movies. after reading that book i love the fact sam plays him. he is really a bad a$$.

Sure, if I get some free time I would like to check that book out. It is a shame I don't have much free time on my hands to read a book right now.

I used to play many PC games on Star Wars, Rebel Assault, Tie Fighter (I was Emperor's Voice Rank) and Dark Forces, Jedi Knight. There are characters like IG-88 (which I think is seen in one of the films briefly) and Grand Admiral Thrawn. I bought Battlefront for PS2 but have not played it yet.

Mace Windu is great, Sammy is the perfect mace. It is unbelievable though that he did not have the Wisdom, nor Yoda, to see what was happening between Sidious and Anakin. Yoda's advice to Anakin was correct and intelligent, but not what Anakin needed. Only when Yoda was training Luke, did he train well and give the right advice. And Mace he should have asked Anakin to come with him to arrest the Chancellor and then Anakin would have seen Sidious take down the Jedi. And what was up with Kit Fisto buying it so easily. I thought he was a POWERFUL Jedi. Anyway, I am going off on a tangent, off topic to this thread.

yep you're right but if anakin had went to arrest the emperor we wouldn't have vader and what a sad world that would be. :)

going back to the actual novel on the movie(i swear i don't read much but only when i go to bed) the emperor was moving faster than the eye could see. too bad they didn't reflect that in movie. they could have made it look like he was moving super fast but the way they did it he died like a bit#@. too bad because apparantly he was incredible with a lightsaber.

Right-- Think of all the little Jedi children that would have grown to adulthood! :D

Ha! they seemed like pansies though. the kid that talked to anakin when he walked in sounded like tiny tim from A Christmas Carol. :)

Hmm, but why does Mace Windu see him and the others do not? I think they may have been surprised to see a politician moving so quickly and a master of the lightsaber. But then again, what were they expecting when he was a Sith?

Good one! I thought that Vader killing all of those kids makes him a monster beyond redemption. How can someone who does that come back to the light side in ROTJ? When I saw OT first (as did everyone), I imagined Vader hunted down and defeated Jedi Knights in battle and not slaughtering innocents.

Not all were wimps. Zett Jukasa was kicking butt big time with the Clone 501st. It is a shame, Organa couldn't get him away from there.

well i guess mace had time since palp. had just killed two or three others but mace was awesome with a saber too. of course these are ways i rationalize everything so to each their own. but you're right i'm sure they would be surprised.

well the way i look at it, he was fighting his kid and that made him think back on padme and he corrected a wrong.

Mace crushing his windpipes was also in volume 2 of the Clone Wars cartoon. That's where I knew it from, haven't yet read LoE.

Anyways, back to the PF Vader (if only for a moment), is there a switch on the plug that can turn the lights on/off? I ask because if he is in a case, I don't want to have to take the case off everytime I want to turn the lights on/off.

The switch is on the base right next to the power cord plug. You'll still have to take off the case to turn it on and off. You'd probably be better off getting a switch that you can plug the power cord into so you could turn it on and off remotely. Could plug Obi-wan into the same one so it's one stop switching.
