No really, who has some of these? We just want some action shots, that's all. Some good photos of these high end collectibles.

Spidey's costume looks good but the figure is a tad slim to my eye. I think the Dunst and Howard dolls are quite nice but I don't think I'll be getting them. Geez though, the Peter Parker looks like he gets his makeup done at the same place Medicom PotC Jack Sparrow does. On Jack fine, but on Peter pretty frikkin' creepy.
Like DD and some other folks here I picked up Supergirl. Nice but just not my thing as it turned out. I don't think I'm a doll collector yet. Looking forward to seeing the Batman though. Maybe I'll change my mind.
I don't think Tonner Dolls are a lot "gayer" than many of the 1/6th scale figures I see. But it's another step into the darkness of collector hell I'm not taking just yet.

I ordered Peter and Spiderman and will probably get the Superman that's coming too.

**shakes head in dismay**

Now I realize why Sideshow could never make that certain figure I (and some others want)... there is no way the same company that would distribute these could also be responsible for a figure of such shear awesomeness as you know who :monkey3

Tonner's female dolls look good. Problem with dolls like these and Mattel's Barbie line up concerning their male figures is they use very skinny feminine or better yet, alien like bodies. Men are not to be stringy. They need more masculine musculature figures. Had Tonner done that, and made Peter more masculine (albeit this is Tobey), these figures would be alright! Tonner's Harry Potter figures look great because they are of younger characters (even young males look feminine, ei; Why people say that chick looks like a 12-year-old boy) and the clothes are more loose fitting and baggier. The women in all their lines look great too. Just for some reason they can't do full grown men. I know Tonner has the skill to get it done. If you're gonna make male heroes, do it right.

I agree that Tonner's female figures seem to look better than their male figures - their female figures are gorgeous. It's the opposite for companies like SSC, IMO. The females don't usually look as good the male figures.

Personally, I love the Mary Jane and Gwen Stacy and will probably get them. I'd to collect their Harry Potter line, and I will definitely collect their Pirates line. I like Tonner.

No, Tonner is a great company. These fanboys are just being anal, although concerning the male figures they have a right to be anal.

But yes, for some reason Tonner can do females and younger people. But men, ummm... no. Give us a new body sculpt and tone down the feminine look of the males. Spidey while lean in musculature is by no means a Christina Aguilera in a Spider-Man costume.

Tonner's Superman has a more muscular adult male body. I expect they felt it was too big for Spidey and they might have been right. I wish they would have come up with something in between the Spider-man and Superman though. Still may end up getting some of this stuff one day. Not getting a Spiderman or Superman product pains me. Maybe if they give Ol' Kal a trim I'd be able to warm up to the figure.
