Re: GTA V - September 17, 2013

Do I have to equip a parachute before I get into plane? I've jumped once with Trevor by accident and he already had the chute on.

Re: GTA V - September 17, 2013

Once you finish one of the missions I believe you're told you always get the chute while in a aircraft.

Re: GTA V - September 17, 2013

Well finally finished the story, absolutely loved the ending.
I went with option 1, killing Trevor. I was so glad it gave us the choice to kill him, he was a rabid dog that needed to be put down. Also liked how he suffered a little before going to hell, lol I hated Trevor.
awesome game loved it. 10/10 GOTY :panic::panic::panic:

Re: GTA V - September 17, 2013

Nope, you get a notification after one of the skydiving missions. I never buy parachutes when I skydive and I always have them when I hop out.

I remember that message, and I thought the same, but it's only if you actually own a parachute. If not, you have a long way down to think about your problem....

Actually no its not (unless you meanonce parachutes are unlocked through story progression). i have never bought the parachute yet it is in my inventory every time i bail

Re: GTA V - September 17, 2013

If you jump out of a plane/chopper you're automatically given a parachute. If you jump off anything else, your not.

Re: GTA V - September 17, 2013

Only after getting the achievement do you get it jumping out. If you do it before you just fall to your death.

Re: GTA V - September 17, 2013

Am I the only one who got bored quickly with this? I feel like it brought a lot to the table but didn't live up the hype at all.

no your not. Sadly as you can tell by my avy and sig i was hyped through the roof. Now a week on i've smashed SP lost the desire to hunt the hidden stuff and am just waiting for online as that is where i think this will shine. I still enjoyed single player by all means but i feel it was a test for the mechanics before releasing online.

I would like to play golf with my 'crew' and also...ride the coaster with them. Yep...that's how lame I am. I admit it.

You can play golf with up to 4 people online. Basically everything that is in the Singleplayer is online and even more

Online will be a blast. But SP doesn't really offer anything extraordinary and to me is just another GTA. In some ways, I had so much more fun dumping 100s of hours in San Andreas. Maybe it's because were desensitized now?

GTA VI on next gen will probably change the whole formula. GTA needs to evolve beyond what it is. The answer to that, I don't know.

Re: GTA V - September 17, 2013

Changing between 3 characters and planning heists not evolving enough?

Its all well and good but when one of your main characters is allways drunk or getting chased by the cops it becomes a little tedious. I've stopped using trevor in free roam. The hesits where hardly in depth planning either. Like i said once online comes out the game will really explode and shine.

As for saints row. That game is just a mess, it was good at 1 and 2 then it went down hill with aliens and superpowers and all that crap

Re: GTA V - September 17, 2013

Changing between 3 characters , planning heists, underwater exploration and including an online game mode not evolving enough?

The only truly innovative thing was rotating characters, but I'd rather just play as one person instead of playing Resident Evil 6: San Andreas.
