Re: GTA V - September 17, 2013

I stopped playing GTAV last week after the torture mission due to work and stuff and for some strange reason I'm not compelled to get back to the game. I do want to know how the story ends but damn I end up playing other games instead. I don't hate GTAV or anything. The heck is wrong with me? :lol

Nothing at all :lol

Re: GTA V - September 17, 2013

Play online make yourself it's a whole new experience. I'm not even remotely sick of playing this game. I'm never ever ever going to stop

Re: GTA V - September 17, 2013

I did online a couple times, didn't pull me in like I thought it would. I would of preferred it just boot up and play instead of earning stuff.

Re: GTA V - September 17, 2013

That's why they'll have the dlc eventually. It will give players an incentive to keep playing after they've bought everything in-game. If they wouldn't in about 3 or 4 months, but possibly shorter than that considering how people play, money will become useless. Of course, everything added will cost at least double base game prices as to suck up all the excess money floating around. I guess I can't forget about the two 250000 payments coming in upcoming weeks either. Here's hoping for something awesome in the second dlc! The first one is supposed to be the "beach bum" pack or something. What could be good in that?

Now get off the internet and go play!:)

Re: GTA V - September 17, 2013

Done with online for now untill they add more. Its sad really i was looking forward to online as i played the hell out of IV online. I wanted the online to flow like single player and new missions pop up as you progress not call the same 5 contacts and get the same missions over and over. I hope they add heists and new missions in soon.

Re: GTA V - September 17, 2013

Well when online launched we were supposed to be able to plan heists in our living rooms in our apartments, but Rockstar took it out at the last minute.
I believe that they're building it up and it's going to be pretty cool when it comes back. The reason why you're getting the same missions over and over is because you're probably still low ranked. Once you progress through the ranking system you unlock better missions and better contacts

im not low ranked, nor am i high currently im lvl 56 so i shouldn't be getting the same crap. i have my 200k apartment, 10 cars in my garage all custom, earned enough money. I either get mixed up with coke, out of court or check out time from martin, titan of a job, last chopper out of ls for lester and so on. Once heists are in it'll pick up and once the beach bum dlc pack is in there will be some more things to buy, but as of right now its getting a bit boring doing the same missions, getting into shoot outs with people or sitting in my apartment with nothing to do but watch the TV (which isn't all that great).

So, I probably partook in one of the most amazing rampages ever, yesterday; I had Trevor shooting at Police Cars and helicopters while on top of a bus going down the freeway at 70 miles per hour.:lol

I'm doing the part in the kifflom missions/achievement where you have to run around in the desert for 5 miles. I just threw a couple pieces of scotch tape on my A button and thumbstick and have Michael running around in circles while I play Simpsons tapped out.

I just completed the Kifflom stuff last night; I actually did the running, which is a good thing, because, at one point, Michael came face to face with a Cougar, which probably would've taken his face had I just taped the button.:lol

Yeah I ran around in a circle too!

Just held the left tumbstick towards the left and tapped X repeatedly.

Fastest I could run 0.1 of a mile was 22 seconds, so all up took about 20 mins.

You finished the mission yet?

After Kifflom I did the Maude Bail Jumper Missions with Trevor.

Yeah, the game glitched and wouldn't let me complete kifflom after taking the cars in. Then it randomly showed up after I went and hung out with franklin. I ended up stealing the 2 million from the car. I beat the game the other night and now I'm just mucking about with stuff for achievements. I'll probably shelf it when I buy batman this week.

Nice now you're $2.1 mil richer :lol

Yeah there is a lot of other things to do after completing the main missions, so don't go putting it on the shelf too soon :)

Re: GTA V - September 17, 2013

Oh I have some stuff left I know. I have the bridges, knife flights, and stunt jump achievements left. Those are also the only ones left for me to get 100% completion. The nuclear waste achievements, the 3 star wanted rating with all 3 guys. I have zero interest in replaying all the missions to get 70 gold as I think I only have like 15 gold.

I don't really feel like doing every little thing as I've already put a ton of time into the game. I'll have to see how I'm feeling. Really I just want these games to tide me over until I get my xbone.

:lol xbone!

True that, I would only replay missions for fun value.

I am at about 77.8% complete, just gotta do the parachute jumps / racing / fitness events etc...

But will purchase a few more properties and make some cash.

I dunno, I'm a completionist in the achievement sense but I can't be bothered to discover every random event or buy businesses I don't really need. I wa saving all my coin for the gold course only to discover I really don't need it.

Yeah the golf course will set you back a fair bit!

And you gotta at least spend about 6 months (GTA V in game time) just to earn your coin back from weekly profits.
