Just started playing this again, going to play the story again and then try to get into multiplayer.

I tried the Lowrider update last night. The customization for one is very deep, probably the deepest it's ever been for GTA. But damn, they need to either cheapen expenses or make missions have a way higher pay out. It's bitched about for years now, but R*needs to spread the wealth.

Cost about $1,000,000 on full customization plus the car...

I went from 20 million to 13 million real quick! The prices are ridiculous! $250,000 for hydraulics?!? Theyre around $2,000 in the real world. lol

I finished GTA V 100%, tried Online briefly then gave up on it 2 years ago. A few weeks ago, I bought it on PS4, got to the last mission before starting over to follow a guide to maximize my profits. Then after completing the game, I decided I'm going to complete every activity, only to find that there is a missable random event, Simeon Yetarian. Man, am I pissed off. Now it's either start again and have to do all the tedious stuff I had just completed all over again, or have this one event never completed.

Been thinking about trying Online again but really, I'm old and don't see much appeal with playing games with strangers online.

I feel the same way about online. GTA is about story first. Too bad they're just focusing on online.

Yeah, GTAO is definitely the reason why we haven't seen any 'episodes' for this GTA. It's a shame because I absolutely love this game. I struggled to maintain my interest in GTA IV and didn't buy the episodes until long after they were released, and I've yet to complete the lost and even start big gay tony. With GTA V, if they release a new story, I'm 100% in on launch day.

Also, I decided to just restart the game again to get a true 100% completion.

Finally started on the Remastered version this weekend, played on PS3 with my cousin when it first came out. Really enjoying it, it's so much fun compared to GTA IV, which lost itself in realism :lol I might pick up the Episodes from Liberty City at some point, wasn't too interested but I see the price dropping on it.

We need GTA collectibles besides that SSC piece.

I've always been against MMO's and online play .... I'm an old guy as well (for MMOs I guess) :D ...but with a couple of other guys, we formed a little online crew and GTA Online is just ridiculous stupid fun.
The Heists are good fun and worth rounding up 3 other people to complete.

There is still supposedly single player offline DLC coming soon apparently.
And if you haven't already played Lost and the Damned (GTA IV) DLC then get on that!! (Ballad of Gay Tony is average by comparison)

Got this for Christmas and just started playing it. Online is God awful, every race and deathmatch always ends up a fists only fight with "parkour" involved and the races are all just ramps leading off into the air. Maybe I'm just having bad luck to

lol I always hated those custom races with endless loops and ramps leading to other ramps 3 car lengths wide trying to land perfectly

i would avoid games that has online tagged to the 100% completion, because some are just ridiculous. Like killing 100000 human opponents online, or some 1 in 1000 chance to achieve unless in an All Friends only game. I bet the developers just sitting on their chair trying to outsmart each other with crazy achievements and say:"well, them suckers gonna try to achieve them anyway so no harm putting it in".

The fun of online is just doing silly stuff with other people.

The heists are definitely worth teaming up with others to do.

Do I need to reach a certain point to start doing heists in online?

And here I thought my 16,000 kills were a lot. :slap

My true 100% completion that I want to attain is regarding doing every possible task in story mode. I won't be going for 100% trophies due to many of them being online challenges. I really couldn't get into GTAO.

Dunno if anyone still plays this, but I'm pretty regular on it. I actually bought a hacked account from eBay since I utterly refuse to pay for Shark Cards. I'm still waiting on the seller to give me it. He's done a huge amount of them with all good feedback. Although I need to make a new PSN account to link the hacked social club account.
