Re: GTA V - September 17, 2013

Meaning what? It won't look as nice in the actual game?

Exactly.

If this game looked that good then they'd label what system these pictures are coming from. Rockstar has yet to say what system they are using for pictues and trailers. My guess is everything we've seen has come from a highend PC.

I don't know what is so hard with putting a small graphic at the bottom of "screenshots" to let us know where they are coming from.

Sure it comes from a high end pc. they do not built a game on a x box :D

And for best results in propaganda you choose best results...

The gameplay trailer is from the ps3 version, and looks just as incredible as the screens. I assume the screens are from the PS3 as well.

The trailers may be PS3, but the stills are likely PC. The resolution is the biggest giveaway. It's common practice for publishers to release high rez stills of games. Shows off the graphics as much as possible.

Re: GTA V - September 17, 2013

Well since they just started to hire programmers for the PC port would that even make sense? Most likely the PC version is still quite a few months out just like in the past. (unless they got their own little dealio for screens)

Whatever the case anyone worried about this game not looking anything less than awesome is a dope!

I don't think anyone has shown any worry about that. I'm sure it'll look good. It's an open world game designed for old consoles so the graphics won't be mind blowing, but from what we've seen they look great considering the limitations of these types of games.

Re: GTA V - September 17, 2013

Looks crisper and better than GTA4 so far to me. (and that's all you can really ask for)

Definitely a step up from IV. A big step too from what I can see. IV had all those nasty shadows. Very pixelated. Euphoria engine will be vastly improved too. They created it with IV, greatly improved on it with Read Dead and further refined it with Max Payne. With V, they should really know what they're doing with it.

Re: GTA V - September 17, 2013

Very nice. Puts it into perspective a bit. GTA's come a long way.

I hope it plays alot better than IV. I liked IV, but playing it now, I can see how stiff and clunky it was. I'm guessing it'll feel more like Red Dead though, so that shouldn't be a problem.

Re: GTA V - September 17, 2013

Well I finally booked the week off from work for the arrival of this masterpiece.

Re: GTA V - September 17, 2013

Just put in for vacation time from the 17-20 of September and I'm off on weekends. So worth it.
