Yeah its a relatively new thing.

Those older codes would expire, and now Sideshow allows the $25 coupons to be applied to preorders. (I've been receiving these codes for years..)

I regrettably let a $50 coupon expire without knowing of this change, I could've applied it to Pfeiffer Catwoman.

(I did receive $20 off that one as well).

Anyone that hasn't used their 10% coupon should save it for Thanos... because that piece is gonna break the bank.

I think I would order goblin if coupons would work, I could never get the pop up to work on the SSC. Then again I might be smarter to wait till in hand pics and opinions start rolling in as I don't thing this will sell out either. Could be wrong but there's so much good stuff coming out from other companies it's bound to happen. Market is starting to get flooded IMO

*I think* in order to subsidize the costs of freight to international customers, Sideshow has started to reward Canadians and International customers with a $25 INT-THNKS-XXXXX coupon that is automatically saved to your account after you

A). Place an order

B). You purchase a Premium Format and the item ships

In the past these $25 coupons were only applicable for select in stock items.

Now Sideshow has granted customers access to Pre-Order items as well.

The maximum amount you can apply or "bank" towards a new purchase is $50. If you are international, you typically get a $25 coupon rebate with an expiration. If you "bank" 2 or more coupons the expiration is extended by another month.

You cannot transfer these coupons to others, and I suppose they are also determined by your order history.

I had

Symbiote Spidey, Wolverine, Aquaman, Red Son Wonder Woman, Red Son Superman, and Red Son Batman ship out last summer

I used $50 off on Batman Returns Bruce Wayne Hot Toys

I preordered all four TMNT, and I'm not certain but I may have received $25 codes for each preorder (or for the aforementioned).

I used a $50 code on Angela, and immediately after I was credited another 2 $25 codes that I used on Black Cat PF .... and I still qualified for the double reward points.

A $50 coupon expired back in September... had I known I could use these coupons on PreOrder items back then... I would've PO He-Man or Captain Marvel EX.

VS1976 is the one that mentioned these codes now apply to PreOrder items... so it doesn't suck living in Canada ordering Sideshow pieces as much.

Hmm interesting, I really have cut back on my ordering though so I'm not even sure what I would have for coupons or if they have expired or not. I imagine they would be able to tell me if I called in to the office. $50 would be basically 10% of Goblin and I could do that since the Cdn dollar has been sucking for the last couple years. At least everything I've been selling has been in Usd which is nice for buying XM pieces along with my supplier is interested in a few pieces I have and we've been working out trade deals for a few characters. So I don't have to use weaker Cdn money to buy with.

yeah I've had some good fortune getting rid of some pieces lately.

I would hold a USD paypal balance... but then I realized it would take years and years for Sideshow to release my ultimate wishlist... which obviously includes Magneto and the X-Men.

2 X-Men Premium Formats are coming next year

Juggernaut has been hinted

and I have a gut feeling Magneto will be previewed for this years 12 days of Sideshow.

I get the $25 International thanks code added directly to my wallet usually the same day (or about) when my order ships out. Don't think it matters what the order is, got it for 1/6th figs, PF's, even used a single $25 for a $35 hoodie and got another one with that order.

Used to be only select items from a list that would change without notice. I missed out on the Wonder Woman PF cause I tried to wait a week to get a second code haha. Usually tho it was just crappy clearance or old shelf warmers, I let more than a few expire because the list was just not that great.

I am pretty sure the change to let you use it on pretty much everything just happened in the last few months cause I remember getting item not eligible notifications after trying to apply it to some things that were not on the "coupon list" just a while ago and settled on the Ep 4 Luke 1/6th (that turned out to be way better than I thought it would given that I usually stick to PF's). It's a great help considering we get no free or discounted shipping anymore so shipping has gone up (example Vader was $40 estimated shipping a year ago when preordered and actual cost was closer to $75 when it did and I'm in BC about 4 hours away from Seattle. Kylo Ren was free shipping to US but I got an estimated $60 charge)

Hope not, mine still says pending on the estimate, which is the only one that says that so that kinda worries me given the size this will be haha. Too late now tho, I tried to cancel Vader after I got the final $72 shipping cost (found a local Canadian dealer with $14 shipping) but they said I would lose the deposit and get dinged on part of the flex payments I think so I kept the order.

I guess (being Canadian) I would receive a $25 coupon for a future order

so 70.60 - 25 = 45$ isn't that bad since most people in the states are quoted at $37 for shipping

How heavy is Vader btw?

Superman PF is now $60 to ship to Canada, I paid $25 for shipping when it came out.

Seems like they are mixing and matching pricing / promotions.
