I think it looks pretty dang good. The construct kinda looks a little too yellow, but that's mostly the blast-wave thingie that looks removable. Also, looks like his skin color is softly bleeding into the hair; hope they fix that. I am kinda tapped on funds atm, but if in-hand pics are all good and this is as well received as, say, the last Wolverine, I might have to just make it happen. Stewart is my GL of choice, and I've been waiting for him, so I kinda don't wanna pass this up.

I’m just wondering how many people are going to be surprised upon unboxing this piece, that the entire material makeup of the construct has changed from the prototype (for the worse imo, but it still looks okay). Because I’ve got to assume there are a lot of collectors who don’t follow any of this except when they originally make their preorder.

Face and body sculpt look great. Such a shame it's spoiled by that awful construct.

Yep the whole construct looks bad, I don't like how angular it is and they've added a phallic thing to the end?!

The change from the proto is not drastic, but it's undeniable. The construct and the green in his suit took a dive, imo. A little dry brushing on the base to highlight, repainting of the energy blast at the front of the gun, and maybe some very subtle airbrush highlights to his muscles and to make the green more metallic. That's all this would take to be a home run.

The construct on the base leading up to his fist looks so damn matte now. Ugh...but honestly, are people surprised? This is pretty much SSC's MO for years now. The protos ALWAYS look way better than the production pieces. Not to mention, the production pieces that get sent to customers always drop a little in quality from the one they show off as well So you basically get 2 drops in quality after you see the proto. Basically the reason I can NEVER PO an SSC piece EVER. Only after in hand pics will I even consider it and even then, the quality has usually dropped so much, its not worth it for the prices they are at now.

Are there still no in hand reviews of this? It must be a couple of months since the production piece was shown on Sideshow live. Doubt I'll get it because of how weak the construct is but still interested to see some reviews that might or might not change my mind lol. The Stewart sculpt is excellent, such a shame they botched the construct.

Looks just like the production pics. Good sculpt, but head paint bleeds into hair and the construct isn't translucent.

Which is which version again? There were a few........ which if I’m remembering right, all got progressively worse.

It does. The brown overspray on the angry portrait would be an easily fix, too, so if that's the only QC issue then I'd be ok with it. All in all, my only real beef is still with the construct. The face/sculpt actually turned out really good.

Really very happy with my GL...both portraits are amazing
I have no issues with mine except that the construct on the figure isn't lining up quite right with the construct in the base (last pic)
I'm gonna wiggle it around a bit to see if I can get it lined up better
Overall, this one is awesome

I do not like how they made the construct and light trail. It looks like an oversized Mattel accessory.

Love those pics starscream! Thanks for posting. SS get a lot of flak but have to give credit where it's due. GA must be a statue of the year contender and Stewart himself looks to have turned out as good as Ollie. Still just the construct that worries me.

How does it look without that translucent piece on the end? Not sure I like the contrast between that and the rest of the construct.

Hoping some video reviews go up soon. I'm curious how he compare to Hal for those that have both PF's.
