I don't know why so many people were hating on this piece. I think he looks great!! I'm not getting him because I only collect Batman Universe, even though I might get Superman PF and Vader Mythos. To those that can, I say this is a winner.

:lol are you sure about this offer my friend? Crow taste really bad and gross.......

When I am wrong or even feel I am wrong I can cop to it and say I was wrong.... When I feel I am right To quote a fellow freaks observation of me I am "stubborn as hell"...:lol. However, it this case I think I might have been wrong.

I still don't like it...I'm fine skipping this green lantern. I'll probably go for the custom..sometime in the future.

Has this been tweaked??? Magnum do you know if there are any FULL body shots.. From the bottom of the base and all... Because, and I am not being a smart *** here, those don't look half bad

It's exactly the same, except for the light-up construct (which btw is a nice surprise). If anything, the hair looks a little bit more like an only piece on those pics, instead of different strands of hair, but that could be the flash.

I never understood the plain hatred for this statue. One can dislike the pose (which is not unlike GL after all), but it's a damn fine sculpt. Yes, his neck looks overly thick from a certain angle (and that angle alone), but it probably looks much better in hand.

Some even said he looked old and wrinkled, which I find simply absurd. The face is the best part of it and screams Hal Jordan to me.

Admittedly, though, his abs —or, to be precise, the connection between them and the thoracic cavity— seemed a little over the top. Apparently really ripped people are often like that. (Pity I can't check that out in the mirror, lol.) It's too bad we don't have any clearer pics of that here, but it'd seem nothing has been changed in that respect, either.

As for the shine on his outfit... it's not like Gil Kane didn't draw it like that back in the day. His black parts had plenty of higlights:

Granted, the green parts probably shouldn't be that shiny, but I don't think it looks that bad, either. Superheroes have garish outfits anyway and that makes for a bright and colorful display .

I suspect much of that general contempt comes also from the fact it's not a museum pose like Supes, Bats and probably WW, too. Personally, I couldn't care less about that. He's gonna be among all of my PFs and I like the mix of stoicism and action for variety.

All in all, and as I said a long time ago, it can be argued that the piece has its flaws or at least weaker points, but it's overall a nice statue, not the dud some people are making it out to be, which is why I preordered it right away. Your mileage may vary.

Gentlemen, here is the in hand photos of Green Lantern Exclusive:) This prototype is sent to Jedbang Collectibles which is one of the biggest store of Turkey and the distributor of Sideshow for a show. I have to say that this piece is a killer:)

He said it's still a prototype.

In fact there is nothing wrong with that piece in my opinion. These shots were taken in the warehouse of Jedbang. Because of the insufficient lighting I have to use flash that I wouldn't prefer. The sculpt is top-notch and the pose is so dynamic. Especially with the ex arm it looks so damn impressive which it looks like coming out of a comic magazine of lanterns. The regular arm's ring is also have a lighting feature but that would not be my choice. Only problem is this piece looks so amazing from every angle so you couldn't decide easily when you are exhibiting on your shelve:)

I was looking mainly at the face, and the one photo makes him look more vertical. It could just be the difference between the in studio pics and the actual in hand, but for me this just looks better then the SDCC pics or the pics on the SSC website. I hope we get more pics soon, and as I have said before I hope that I have been wrong this WHOLE time, and this looks great because even if I do t get it I want those who have it to love it.
