Just a quick thought:

I just noticed that his left iris is smaller than the right.

Between the two, I think his right eye is more accurate.

Hey guys I have just finished my Mad Hatter Medicom repaint. I will take some better pictures in the daylight, and I will take more pictures of the complete figure after I have repainted the hands and shoes.

I have repainted the whole head and the Hat aswell as the factory paint job was not great. The likeness is really great, I love the figure as the costume is amazing. Anyway guys let me know what you all think. Enjoy.

Hi mate

Yeah his eyes thoughout the movie change in size, however if you look at the reference and even the movie poster you have uploaded you will see his right eye is always bigger than his left. Also his right eye has more yellow in it buddy. It was one thing I was woried about doing as people may think I have done it wrong, but believe me buddy it is there.

Awesome Maglor!

Greggo great mad hatter repaint buddy!

I recieved 5 (maybe 6?) heads from Greggo the other day, the man is bloody ridiculous!

Don't know how you do it mate. Great work.

Yes I agree with you Platty I don't know how he does it but he did it. There will be more work for him in my future. Look at what came in the mail today(shipping was kinda fast). I will post finish pics once I get my hands on a truetype. He looks a hundred times better repainted. Thanks Greggo

Thank you all so much! I really do mean it, Im always so happy to see all the paint jobs come to life with your fantastic customs! I wanted to take more photos today of my mad hatter however I've been busy getting ready for a show here in Birmingham.

Totally epic!

Not gonna lie, but on it's own the Cobb headsculpt is so-so in comparison to Daniel's other work. But painted up by Gregg and put on a body with the clothes? I'm sold and no longer have any dreams of owning Feng's head. This looks perfect Mag. And the lighting/photos are great so I'm sorry for putting your Cobb down. It doesn't look as pale as Gregg's photos and really is just an amazing all around piece. Of the two? Honestly I prefer the Cobb even though the Arthur's head sculpt is nearly perfect.

Thanks K07. :1-1:

Yeah, I actually prefer Cobb to. :exactly:

Now for the part I've been dreading saying for the last day and a half: I actually think you were right about the hair. NAM is gonna have a field day if he reads this, but I think I pushed Greggo into a corner a bit.

You all didn't see the PM's I sent, but I did mention that I asked him to make the hair lighter. There was more to it than that and to make a long story short, my unending critiques and instructions produced a Cobb with washed-out hair.

I want to make it clear that Greggo did an amazing job on both heads - especially Cobb. Cobb's eyes are gorgeous and the beard couldn't be more perfect. But the hair lacks depth compared to the earlier attempts. Again - I take full responsibility for this.

Greggo, you have an incoming PM. :peace

Don't hate me.
