Ok Guys

Just to let you all know where I'am at the moment. Im a very, very busy young man at the moment. Just not enough time in the day at all. For the next 5 days I will be at my other job, so if people don't hear off me thats why. I will try and answer any PM or questions when I can. I just thought it will be better to let you all know where I stand. I have about 4 orders still in the works and heres the list of them and the process of them.

1. Ebayarea Rock complete, Jack on Hold, Tyler durden basic skin tones added awaiting detail work and Se7en sculpt basic skin tones added awaiting detail work.
2. Eldorado Man on Fire basic skin tones added awaiting detail work

Im just waiting for my other commissions to arrive, these will be started the moment I have completed the above orders.

So please bear with me, I will complete everything I have said I would do, Its just taking me time, again thank you all for your support and great comments your all the best :)

Gregg, your communication and turnaround is second to none bud, class act all around :hi5:

Out of curiousity, on average, how many "layers" of paint do you apply to each sculpt? You obviously start out with a base coat, then how many?

Hey mate on average I would say I put about 5-8 layers of watered down skin tones on top of the base colour for the skin! I normally start with the base colour then I add red wash to the cheeks and at the side of the nose and around the hair line! I use green and blue wash for under the eyebrows and 5 o clock shadow then I would add the 5-8 layers of skin tone on top from darker to lighter tones! Then the detail begins hope this helps buddy?

Yes, thank you, I appreciate the tips. How watered-down is the paint? Whats your preferred type of paint? Thanks again.

As for the paint I water it down with one part paint to two parts water! I use gamesworkshop citedal paints they even sell the washes I use and they are fantastic :)

I love this stuff, best out there for hand painted items. :lecture

If you are a painter: makes life easier and it's a slice of heaven.

If not a painter: great start off paints and easy to get use to.

I came very close to quitting my second job but stuck with it knowing I needed at least one paycheck to get my "Inception" heads from you. Thankfully that motivation made me get into the swing of things and I think I'll keep this job. I may be sending more money your way for future customs!

Your patches are VERY intriguing on that Taxi Driver jacket. I'd like something similar done on another project I've got on the back burner now. Not until next year but definitely need to remember you're capable and the man to go to.

Keep up the good work. Any idea when you're tackling the Dexter accessories? Hopefully after Christmas?

Greggo, that's interesting. What would you recommend as a starter kit for painting heads. I am thinking of having a go!
