I meant iris. I usually draw it on with really sharp pencil; when I feel it's good enough of a circle, I then fill it with paint.

Yeah I got you mate. I have done before, but no recently. I think I will start doing it again then hopefully I will get the perfect circle. I do know what you mean though mate. Sorry buddy hope I havent ruined your sculpt :peace

You've done an awesome job on painting this! I just thought minor details will make your paint ups even better; they are very well done already. :clap:clap

I agree minor details can make it even better. Criticism does not bother me at all. So thank you for telling me. You have just reminded me about the pencil trick. Great Pun lol

First up of 2 posts is Tony Soprano i have drilled and painted for Warden. I followed the reference very closely as he is quite red in the face so I wanted to create that look. Hope you like it?

I have no idea buddy! But the sculpt is very rough indeed and as for the resin its very, very powdery almost though the resin as been mixed with filler, so its very soft indeed.

That Tony has to be an Ada sculpt. The fact that you made it look as good as you did is a testament to your skills. I've owned a few of her sculpts, and they are rough as a cobb.

Another update for Andymp this is sunohc John Marston sculpt from Red Dead Redemption. I match the skins tones as closely to the reference as possible as he has a darker skin tone specially around the eye area. Anyway guys please enjoy.

Marston looks wonderful Gregg! I love that sculpt, one of the best video game likenesses I've seen.

Excellent job my friend.

Agreed, great sculpt. I tried getting into the game but I couldn't, found it too slow and it started jumping at one point midwaythrough. That was the final straw lol. I also couldn't really attach to the character of Marston.

Nice figure Jim, love that base!!!

thanks platty
its a custom base that i make myself
its a pvc 20mm cut on router
i add a silver plate and final the logo cut on vinyl
i almost do it for all my figures
this kind and size of base gives more space and freedom for cool poses for my figures
