Grey Hulk dio vs. Planet Hulk dio

Neither represents iconic Hulk but I must say the sculpting, pose, and colors on the PH dio is signigicantly more impressive to me. I also think that with Planet Hulk being an "event" series that lasted more than a year it'll be better remembered than Amazing Spider-Man #328.

You can't beat the exclusivity of the Grey Hulk dio but I think SSC did a fine job of topping their previous effort. 1/10th of the price is pretty nice too.

Yeah, it does look too short compared to the drawing, and to Silver Savage's size. But I think the size is just right as a shield.

This is a piece for Planet Hulk fans first. They will overlook most of the inaccuracies they see because overall it is probably the nicest thing they'll see for that particular story.

Comparing this to either of the Hulk Vs Spidey sculpts is not fair since we can't compare the size of both pieces. Let's face it: size is everything when comparing a Hulk piece. People here want as big a Hulk piece as possible or they cry.

I Think both are spectacular pieces, but my love for the Planet Hulk comics give the edge to the PH dio.

Yep, I was just going by the sculpting, pose, and colors. The size of the PH dio will definitely come into play as well once its revealed. I don't think its for PH fans first. I've never read the story and am blown away by the dio.

The Hulk/Spidey is hollow too, and notorious for breakage.

If they measured from top of the battle-axe, that would make hulk 28-30 cm tall standing straight. (Not counting the base and helmet.)
This dio is perfect!

I'm assuming that too since it only weigh 12 freaking lbs. So, SS should bring the price down a bit.

Well, not literally, but literally in the figurative sense that I was in no way pursuing one and a smoking deal presented itself... I'm talking green Hulk diorama prices

Unless you carry your statues around like Pitu, I don't think weight should be that big of a factor.

The sculpt looks the same unless we are talking about cheap plastic that affects the actual look. What kind of super thick glass do you guys use on your Curio cabinets?
