I remember Smallville having the same starting with the kyrptonite creature of the week. took a while but i think they did 10 seasons on that show. I didn't watch it but it went ten seasons, so I understand what you mean about the one trick pony. either way it's friday night dvr'd.

I got bored with Smallville really quick. Some of the eye candy kept my interest as the show went on, but I stopped watching it regularly after season 2. I did like a bunch of episodes with Erica Durance in them, but I can't remember anything about the plots.

Here are a couple of stills that I took on the show...

Wow, has no one really been talking about this show?

I just finally caught up on Season 5. Been on a binge watch for the last month.

I absolutely love this show! It has definitely been a roller coaster! Last few episodes have been decent. I'm also starting to like the chemistry between Nick and Adalind. Pretty adorable lol.

Definitely an emotional episode! Loved how they showed Monroe's uncle. Also wish we got a bit more Adalind. I do like that Monroe pushed that topic; I think it's a nice link to see Nick and Adalind together.

Eve is kind of coming off as annoying. Not even doing the "cold" attitude any justice.

Also I wish we could get a few more new monsters now that these new Grimm books have showed 'em.
