Guardian/P2 Elder Question

got 2 for keeps. my wait list did not convert. :[

2 guardians and an elder pred in my clan.

I wouldn't trade the guardian for an Elder. The head sculpt of these early predators look terrible compared the later Predators.

Sure you're not thinking of the AvP Elder? The P2 Elder's headsculpt holds up very well to todays standards. Or at least I'm told by those lucky sods who have it.

there were comparison shots of the head next to screen shots of the real thing. it's dead-on.

Pity they dropped the ball a bit on P1's face. His eyes are dead-on IMO but that overlong nose area and the bright red open mouth are an unfortunate distraction.

Still not sure why they didn't just recycle the P2 Elder sculpt!?

Personally I feel the P2 elder is perfection in the head sculpt, paint, and dreds department. Even the body and armor are near perfect imo.

I have both, but even the P2 elder has something about the paint and sculpt that make it's look a bit off compared with the quality of later preds. I can't quite put my finger on it.

I definitely wouldn't pay $600 +.

Yep, I've already got an Elder so no question here. Anyway, a 1/6 of my favourite Lost Hunter? had to be done...

Gort is staying with me. Elder was my first HT Predator. Although not entirely movie accurate he is aesthetically badass.

I don't own an Elder but I'd say that's still the best looking Pred produced by HT to date. Spot on when compared to the film version.
