Yeah I was pretty surprised that they went full Total Recall on Quill's face when no one else who died in space in previous films had that happen.
Yep, Cohagaen face bloating is reserved for part Celestials lol

Only a 49% drop! :panic:
It’s already taken more than the total global box office for Quantumania! Wt!

I'll say Top 5 last two years but only because we've gotten such absolutely amazing films in 2022-23.

1. TGM
2. AWOW
3. TB
4. JW4
5. GOTG3

I have a feeling that the rewatchability of this will be very high though and yeah, its definitely better than NWH.
Took my brain way too long to figure these out.

1. TGM - Top Gun Maverick
2. AWOW - Avatar Way of the Water
3. TB - The Batman
4. JW4 - John Wick 4
5. GOTG3 - Guardians of the Galaxy 3

TGM. It was fun. A nice throwback to the blockbusters of yesteryear.

AWOW. Like a theme park ride. Fun while it lasts, but utterly forgettable the moment you get off the ride. I forgot this movie even exists about 20 minutes after I watched it. Just like the first one. Perfectly enjoyable but utterly forgettable.

TB. I'll never understand why everyone is enamored with this movie. Dull as dishwater, slow as molasses, and not a single ounce of an original or novel idea. Every frame of this movie and every utterance of dialogue, every editing choice, every soundtrack beat in the entire 3 hours has been done a thousand times, and done better. Basically what would happen if you told ChatGPT to make a "dark" Batman movie, but with the lamest Batmobile in history and Catwoman wearing a sock over her face as a "costume."

JW4. Haven't seen it yet. Should hit pirate sites in a few days so I'm really looking forward to it.

GOTG3. So much fun. Great characters, legitimately funny, truly novel and original production design that looks like Moebius and Jodorowsky had a baby. Two thumbs way up.

Personally loved TB because it reminded me of the dark Batman comics I read. More detective work than action romp.

It’s not the easiest film to rewatch but first time viewing it was my 2nd fav after TDK

Finally got to see the film. Really enjoyed it, but the ending was very bitter-sweet to me.
I was crushed when Gamora left and returned to the Ravagers. Seeing her embrace them the same way the Guardians all embraced one another, you see she has her own family and won't ever have that connection with Quill and the others. I guess with Zoe deciding she won't play Gamora again, they can't really have her connected with Peter anymore. However they could have had more of an open ending with her deciding to stay and help Nebula out.

Sad to see most of them go their separate ways. I guess we'll see Star-Lord again, but it won't be the same without the others.
