I'll either go with the 3D release, or pass altogether for now. That cover just pisses me off. And I love the movie too. Maybe if it's just a slip, which I usually trash anyway. I'll wait to see what the story is next Tuesday...

I don't think it's going to stop anyone from buying the film, but man, that cover is awful. The movie is the prize, but a nice cover is a true bonus. Especially if you like collecting the things.

It's a pretty bad cover. It makes zero sense. And I will own the film, I just refuse to support that very poor choice. Hopefully it's a slip I can toss with a better cover underneath, or otherwise I'll wait for a deal on the 3D or a re-release with a better cover.

The cover is alright. Not sure why they went with that picture to be honest. I'm getting this just to watch the Robot vs Monster moments.

i know the cover shot isn't exactly in the movie, but I understand what they're trying to do. They want to convey there is more to the story than just robots vs monsters so they chose to use a "touching" image from the movie. But theres no way they can use any jaeger other than Gypsy Danger for a cover. And its ultimately the Mech that ends up being her's.
