Halcyon 1/5th Alien, 1/60th Space Jockey, Chestburster & Tsukuda 1/9th Endoskeleton
During this pandemic, I found myself with more time on hand to finish a few kits that I had stashed away in my workshop. These ended up being straight out of the box builds with some mild customization's. Have to say that I haven't built a model for the longest time. Most customs were action figures as they are equal or better than most model kits. What's missing is the Neca 1/4th Endoskeleton which is nearing completion; I'll post that custom soon.
Also, waiting in the wings is the Pegasus 1/32 Aerial Hunter Killer along with 1/32 Hunter Killer Tank which I'm more likely to start next.
For now, hope you enjoy these classic kits as they are still nice kits to build.
For the Alien, I left the dome unattached so I can remove it and display it with or without as I like both looks. I plan to do some modifications to the arms to allow more pose-ability.
Alien
Alien Space Jockey
Chestburster
Tsukuda Endoskeleton
Eyes are lit up via fiber optic. Base is from Neca Movie Maniacs Endoskeleton. I also incorporated various metal parts to make him more pose able since this is a model, not an action figure. It's still a nicely detailed kit to build.
I also did a mild repaint with these old figures as well.
