Just added it back. Have had it there for a couple days. :lol

Re: Han and Luke as Stormtroopers - SDCC '09?

I'm thinking of getting these if looking cool. Since my focus are Imperials, I could call these Imperials too :monkey3:D

Re: Han and Luke as Stormtroopers - SDCC '09?

Yeah, cause thats how they do it.

Oh by the way its Brant. Not Brent.

LOL! i work for retail (office) & guess what thats generally how the price is worked out, they walk the office with the new product & ask staff "What would you EXPECT to pay for this?" form that they get a pricing ball park of how much people will pay. Silly but true! of course other factors are there to, but that is certainly one of them.

Re: Han and Luke as Stormtroopers - SDCC '09?

just wanted to point this out. Last year during either SDCC or spook ( I forget) , Olaf posted in the vader thread that not only did her sculpt the armor for vader, but that he also sculpted two heads designed to go under helmets for sideshow.
you guys don't think........ ?

Well, it could only be these or Boba / Jango. Guess we'll see soon, but I am guessing these are the same heads as before.

Re: Han and Luke as Stormtroopers - SDCC '09?

sounds beleiveable, and makes me sad....
here is a thought though... what if these Are NOT a two-pack, but two separate figures?

Re: Han and Luke as Stormtroopers - SDCC '09?

I think they'll be a two pack just because I have a hard time imagining someone wanting one and not the other. I don't think the difference will change the price though if they are individual.

Re: Han and Luke as Stormtroopers - SDCC '09?

That's WHY i think they'll be singles. sideshow can charge more if they're split up, instead of a set. makes better buisness sense.

Re: Han and Luke as Stormtroopers - SDCC '09?

Doing a two-pack would make sense if they wanted to discount it a little bit ( palpatine two-pack is a good example, the two pack was less than two regular star wars figures at the time)
a two pack for 180, or two stormtrooper exclusives at 100$ each.

Re: Han and Luke as Stormtroopers - SDCC '09?

I see what you mean, but I'm going on the assumption these will be the same price as the Stormtroopers and 180 dollars would be no discount. And 190 dollars would be a five dollar increase (which is about the difference between attendee and non-attendee if I remember correctly).

Re: Han and Luke as Stormtroopers - SDCC '09?

So any word when these are going up for pre-order?

This Thursday's Newsletter will reveal all seven and give their staggered Ordering dates.

As for the figures, I guarantee they'll offer them separate (some collectors do have a Luke focus or a Han focus or even a Stormtrooper focus and not just a general focus like most of us) and just like the Endor Trooper situation, offered a bundle mixed in with a $25 GC but it'll still be 2 boxes separate and I don't think they'll be more than the standard Stormtrooper for attendees...

Re: Han and Luke as Stormtroopers - SDCC '09?

As long as Luke is shorter then I am in. Also I'll buy them on the condition that Mike makes that signature stay around for awhile.

i don't know. they didn't offer the palpatine and sidious as individual figures. I'm not convinced they'll do that for these 2. I don't think there is that much of a market for only 1 and not the other.

as they will be comming with effectively two heads each ( helmet and head respectively) I think it's a safe bet that they'll be more than the regular troopers.

Palpatine came as a two pack, becuase they felt they would sell better that way. as someone else said, some collectors have a luke focus, and some have a han focus, so i'll wager that they will be two separate figures.
