In the little pic Luke does look weird, but that could easily be the size of the pic and things always look better in person.

As for how they will look in production, aren't those probably production since they'll be shipping a couple months?

All you guys making the snide LFL comments: These are already in production. I can't think of a SW SDCC ex. that wasn't a product sample being shown in the preview.

Not necessarily, they could have been photographed way back and are just now being shown off while production goes on. It's a 50/50 shot, if we see box shots next week, I think production sample would be a safe assumption.

However, if these are production, it'll be a shame that Luke's hair looks so nice a color and ANH Luke not so much.

The Joe Ex sucks so hard that it will leave me enough $$ to pick these guys up, IMO they look good so far. Hope they come in a box together like the Hasbro ones did.

Yeah, especially since the Stormtrooper came in the smaller package type, box should just be 2 of those, not too big at all.

Would seem a bit like a kick in the balls, but wonder if the binders for Chewie will be included. Hope the longer ST rifle is, but probably just standard blasters and maybe the grappling hook.

They both have nice sculpts, but from the small image, Luke looks like Cletus the slackjawed yokel.

If it is similar to Palps/Sid.. and we're thinking not much bigger than the Stormie boxes.. that would most likely mean no helmets and NONE of the fun extras. We'd just get two blasters.

Having fresh heads makes it more exciting, kudos to SS for doing that, though I imagine to some degree, that might cause a rumbling, folks who miss out on them might be bothered where if they were the previous ANH portraits they might be ok.

I agree... I'm actually fairly excited after seeing these images. I figured it would be a straight-up reuse of parts. The sculpts actually look even better than the originals.

Pretty excited about the look of these so far - now if they come with a good set of accessories I'm in. The sculpts look great to me, but I definitely look forward to seeing some more encompassing shots.
