Han and Luke as Stormtroopers - SDCC '09

Clone Obi didn't come with a helmet, but then they haven't done a clone tropper so for him to have a helmet would have required more work than for these guys to have it. But if Sideshow is thinking that people won't need the helmet because they don't think people will put the helmet on they may not include it. But hopefully they'll know we want to have the helmet for them to hold.

Hope they come with helmets... that way you can at least have them double as Stormies if you don't feel like having a ton of Luke and Han figures out on display.

Pretty sure there will be a height difference... the preview thumbnail even suggests it. Also, "a little short for a stormtrooper" is too key of a reference to not replicate for the figures.

Today's edition of Sideshow TV showcases Han and Luke.

Those of you who were not sure about either likeness, you will get nice big clear shots of them and I have to say THIS is the best Luke likeness we have seen ever from anywhere.

They both come with their trooper helmets but they are different from the Stormie helms in two ways: they are not meant to be warn (so no swapout necks) and their detailed INSIDE the helmet.

Also Luke comes with his comlink and grappling hook.

and yes, they are different heights!

I am definitely happy with these.

Pix, from what you've seen, how are Lukes eyes? It looks from the screen grabs like they are really small?

A few more captures to show additional details and scale! These look AWESOME!!!...Now somebody (Paul) has to somehow use that 'Han smirk' on an Indiana Jones head custom!!!

They look fine to me. That may be the resolution loss from the screen grab and the movement on the camerea. When you watch the actual episode its pretty clear and they look good. Much better than Farmboy Luke.

Well now that is pretty damn cool... I had all but convinced myself I don't need these (I've been going back and forth all weekend) but this is pretty hard to turn down. The detail of the helmets is just badass
