I'm definitely getting these because it was one of my favorite scenes in ANH but my expectations are low...I just expect the previous heads on the current Stormie body. I'm hoping that these won't be higher than the standard Stormies.

Me? Nah I left that one as is.

I had a hunch when these characters came out last year and then the stormies these would be the SDCC items. Just made the most sense.

If they two pack the box, I guarantee you that'll count as one exclusive offering....unless they offer Han and then offer Luke and then offer a two pack like they did with the Endor Soldiers. If so....I'm afraid that might count as three.....

I notice that the standard Stormtrooper is a bit short for Han Solo. With the helmet placed high on neck post, I still measure approx 12", so accounting for helmet thickness the actor would be less than 6' tall. Ford is 6'1" or 6'2" depending on the source. So maybe they should give Ford a bit longer torso and legs while at the same time shortening Luke's. If they customize the body heights for both actors, I will buy for sure.

Here's hoping they come with the DLT-19, commlink, and or binders. Oh and a different belt. If they go all out this would be awesome.

I can see sideshow giving us atleast 2-3 of those you listed the commlink is almost assured since the stormtroopers already came with the hand for holding it. The Binders would be easy one to include from leia and the DLT-19 is sure to get used later down the line as well so they may have already worked on it with that in mind. Only one I'm not so sure about on the list is the belt though it's possible by adding the large grapling hook pouch to the back in place of the detinator and maybe a way to attach the commlink to the belt with say a magnet. Could put one in the commlink and another in the molded part of the belt like right around where that raised circle on his left side would be perfect.

I believe these will be retooled so have faith. They went to town on the sandtroopers with extra detail so I doubt they'll skimp on Luke and Han.

What is the DLT-19? and what about the binders that you are refering to?

The DLT-19 is the large rifle Han carries around while in the stormtrooper gear and passes to chewbacca in the detention block. (see pic below) The Binders are the cuffs that were used on leia and luke tries to put on chewie the ANH leia figure already came with a set of them so there an easy reused accessory.

The binders were the exclusive for Leia, so I don't see them including them as a standard accessory for these guys.

The Death Star plans were Leia's exclusive. But, the binders they used on Chewie were brass, and I'm pretty sure Leia's were white.

No they weren't:

Yeah, if they were different binders, even just in terms of color, they could probably get away with including them.

On film we never get a good look at the binders Leia is wearing cause of camera angle and her dress sleaves are obscuring them. The ones leia came with are the same ones the troopers use in ESB so most refrence images show them as the standard Stormtrooper binders. The ones used on Chewie in ANH though are brass and more plain looking. In my opinion it's a minor detail and if not exact isn't something I'm going to loose any sleep over and would just be a nice bonus to include with them.

Edit: yup your right the binders were her exclusive so that does rule them out unless sideshow modifies them. They have said it is a possibility when a past exclusive would fit a character later down the line to reuse it in a modified form like sugestions that we may see a retooled or repainted skiff blaster should they ever do the guards or Lando from Jabba's palace.
