That seems like it defeats the purpose of the waiver. The purpose of the waiver being on file with Fedex is so that they can deliver it with out a signature and since you give up your right to file a claim if the item does not show up and Fedex says that it was delivered, I don't see why Sideshow would be able to override it, since its not there problem. I have never done it with Fedex but I did with UPS and no matter what they left it.

Yeah, I know it was confusing and made me mad, but I called SS directly about it and they can/have to override it due to the ammount they insure the package for. I have to fill out and send in a waiver to SS for each and every order over $100. Pain in the butt, but oh well.

Your last hope is if you know your fedex driver he might be willing to work with you. Mine left me with a stack of the Signature slips they leave on your door when they miss you. He said if I know something is coming, just fill in the tracking # and sign it and he can leave it.

got my shipping notice.
I had talked to Amy at SS after I recieved Kt Fisto in a shipper that looked like it had been sat on to have her send me a new Fisto box (which she did...arrived perfect) and had all of my remaining orders switched from FedEx to UPS, and Han is coming via UPS. (fingers crossed) here's hoping Han arrives un-smushed...

That is strange. As far as I know, all orders under $100 are supposed to be coming via UPS now. I know my Han is, and should be here Monday

Well a bit of an update on my shipping woes. I contacted UPS and surprisingly they were exceptionally helpful and nice on the phone. And for future reference all you need to do if you aren't going to be around when a package is delivered is call them and they will hold all packages and deliver them on the date you specify. And afterwards the local UPS shipper contacted me to make sure all the details were correct... quite a relief!

And on Tuesday I'll have both my Han and Vaderkin!!! :chew

Got back from my little vacation and found Han waiting in the garage. Thankfully, Giant Chicken stopped by and rescued him from the front porch while I was away, sticking him in a safer place. One or two more of these, and I will finally have enough to set up a display in my office...
