Story gets weak at the end with

the giant spider... when the focus was Pennywise it rocked-- and Curry, like he is in most things, is brilliant.

Now that would be interesting. I just don't remember the book being that great either. I really should read it again since it's been over 20 years since the first time.

I read it once when I was in middle school. Haven't since. That is one long mother^^^^er. Plus it has the creepy Pennywise cover to tie in with the movie.
