Chili's? Applebee's? Mimi's Cafe? Olive Garden? Red Lobster? Pizza Hut Express inside Target?

when we go out for special occassions, all chain restaurants are not options.

Its the independent ones that are the best.

I don't have any independent ones on my side of town--it's chains, chains and more chains in my neighborhood.



But that link has intrigued me. How long does it take to drive from California to North Carolina?? Can I get there in time for dinner?

You should go to Medieval Times. And there's even one in California....somewhere. They give you half a chicken to eat, and ribs, and some really good soup (you can't really tell what it is because the lights are off).

Or just go to Pizza Hut, because seriously, they have good pizza, and it's easy.

You start off with the salad bar and then when you give them the green light, they start arriving with skewers of different meats. And dont stop until you tell them too.
At the end of your meal theyre still coming around with fresh off the grill filets.

Tom, if you like Italian Food and if there is one nearby, you should go to
Bucca Di Beppo. That place is awesome and I think it'd be the perfect place to celebrate a B-Day!

Those Brazilian (Churrascaria's) BBQ joints are awesome too. I've been to a couple here in So. Cal. and have not been dissapointed. The meat selection and the flavors are to die for! If you don't go to Buca Tom, go to a Brazilian Restaurant!
