Re: Harmy's Star Wars Despecialized Edition Remastered- List in First Post!!!

So it's possible to print something like that directly onto a disc? I'd love to get a copy like that :rock

Re: Harmy's Star Wars Despecialized Edition Remastered- List in First Post!!!

I prefer the first art from the original Style A one-sheet.

I do also. I'm looking for a really cool alternate SW logo to use. That one I have on there doesn't quite fit that graphic IMO... I know there were a few with a thin, totally different font.

I printed mine that I made for myself and a few close friends. The discs cost more as does the ink, but I like the feel I get from it.

I did not do special labels I used what I found.

Adjusted the position and added the familiar catchphrase...

Anyone like this or have suggestions?

Re: Harmy's Star Wars Despecialized Edition Remastered- List in First Post!!!

I would maybe change "Star Wars" to the classic font that is used, but I think it looks good.

Re: Harmy's Star Wars Despecialized Edition Remastered- List in First Post!!!

Art looks great... Like others have said I would use the font from
The original '77 one sheet. Also my preference would be to remove the
"Despecialized Edition" part and just use the movie title. Or put "original theatrical edition" or "classic edition". I know it's called the despecialized edition... But to me that sounds so unofficial. I like my stuff to look official. Just my thoughts.

I agree. Calling out the "edition" is a little George Lucasish to me. When "Episode IV: A New Hope" was added to the scroll in 1981 they didn't start putting that on the home video packaging. I think just "Star Wars" like they did for so many years is the way to go.

Re: Harmy's Star Wars Despecialized Edition Remastered- List in First Post!!!

Thanks for the input guys, I'll do just that. :)

Re: Harmy's Star Wars Despecialized Edition Remastered- List in First Post!!!

Good ideas, guys. Should be simply called Star Wars. :rock

Re: Harmy's Star Wars Despecialized Edition Remastered- List in First Post!!!

I would also skip the catchphrase (on the box is enough) so we see Vader better.

Re: Harmy's Star Wars Despecialized Edition Remastered- List in First Post!!!

I'd be interested in a copy of the 2.5 version, once it's available.

Re: Harmy's Star Wars Despecialized Edition Remastered- List in First Post!!!

got the list updated with a few more.

Re: Harmy's Star Wars Despecialized Edition Remastered- List in First Post!!!

Just curious. I understand that the new version of ANH is going to correct some scenes on Tatooine when Ben meets Luke and all that, but what is needed with ESB and ROTJ at this point? I have Harmy's first versions and they look great.

ROTJ needs the original Lapti Nek music returned and the ending turned back to the smaller victory and original music.

Re: Harmy's Star Wars Despecialized Edition Remastered- List in First Post!!!

I think he meant what would be different between the first Gsrmy releases and I think it's just the new ones will be higher quality all around.

Re: Harmy's Star Wars Despecialized Edition Remastered- List in First Post!!!

Slynger, please add me to the list for the 2.1 or 2.5 Blu-ray, whatever the revised version is...thanks!

I agree about the disc label, just plain "STAR WARS" in the proper font is all that is needed.

Re: Harmy's Star Wars Despecialized Edition Remastered- List in First Post!!!

Are we looking for the Star Wars logo that's on the one sheet (from my first example) or the yellow one that's on screen before the opening crawl?
